Ravens vs. Jaguars Predictions and Expert Picks
Blewis: The Ravens escaped with an overtime win over the Rams on Sunday and are firmly in the mix for the top seed in the AFC. Even though Stafford picked them apart on Sunday, I don’t think this Ravens defense will have two bad performances in a row, even on the road. I’m going to go back to my roots here with a prime-time under.
Pick: Under 43.5
Bearman: With Trevor Lawrence banged up and injuries all over the place, the Jags are not the same team that was on the cusp of controlling their own destiny in the AFC. Now, they host arguably the best team in the AFC: the Ravens.
Pick: Ravens -3
Rolfe: This matchup between the Ravens and Jaguars has the potential to be fascinating based on what we have seen in recent weeks. The Ravens’ offense has been a juggernaut in the past two months, scoring over 30 points in six out of seven games.
This week, they get a Jaguars defense that has allowed over 30 points three times in the past five weeks.

Based on that, taking the Ravens to go over 22.5 points feels like a simple call based on what we have seen in recent weeks, but the weather could put pay to that. There are forecasts for 25+ mph gusts on top of sustained 15+ mph wind and rain. All of that could hamper the Ravens’ offense.
However, the weather should not be enough to stop the Ravens from winning this one. Especially if we see the same version of Lawrence that we saw last week as he deals with his ankle sprain. The Jaguars’ offense got to 30 points in that game, but they made a lot of mistakes along the way, and the Ravens will capitalize.
The wind also plays into the Ravens’ favor a little here with the more dominant ground game of the two. Gus Edwards and Keaton Mitchell could see plenty of touches and provide a more effective one-two punch than Travis Etienne and D’Earnest Johnson.
Picks: Ravens -3.5 (Even at ESPNBet), Ravens over 22.5 points (-125 at ESPNBet)
