He had 1,265 tackles, 22 forced fumbles, 20.5 sacks and 11 career interceptions under his belt and ended his career with five Pro Bowls and three first-team All-Pro honors. Another crucial part of Saints' "Doom Petrol" Defense, Pat Swilling has the third most sacks (76.5) in the team's history. Although he moved to the Lions later in his career, he was still quite productive even on the wrong side of 30s. The 6-1- and 232-pound Deuce McAllister was one of Saints best RBs of all time. He led the team in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns before being passed recently in those categories by Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara. He is known for his performance in 2003, where he rushed for 1,641 yards and scoring eight touchdowns. He also grabbed a career-high 69 passes for 516 yards and earned his second Pro Bowl selection. Saints DE Cameron Jordan stands as the team’s all-time sacks leader with 117.5. He’s an eight-time Pro Bowler, and throughout his time in New Orleans, he has been a crucial part of the team's defense success. One of the best WRs in Saints history, Marques Colston is the franchise leader in receptions (711), receiving yards (9,759) and touchdowns (both 72). He had over 900 yards receiving in seven of his first eight NFL seasons. Six of those years were 1,000-yarders. Michael Thomas was one of the best WRs of his time. His precise route running and catching ability made him a favorite target for Saints quarterbacks. Thomas set the NFL record for most receptions in a single season in 2019, grabbing 149 balls out of 185 targets. He also totaled 1,725 yads and nine touchdowns and was chosen as the AP offensive player of the year. In his nine seasons with the Saints, Willie Roaf was one of the most decorated players in the NFL history. Roaf earned 7 Pro Bowl nods. He also had two listings as a first-team All-Pro and has a bust inside the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He was a shutdown blocker at the most important position along the offensive line, and gave the Saints real consistency. Rickey Jackson is a legendary Saints LB who spent 15 years with the team. He had the most sacks in the team's history when he retired, a record which was recently broken by Cameron Jordan. He is also the franchise's all-time leader in fumble recoveries with 26. He played 195 games which is the second highest total in the Saints history. Jahri Evans is a legendary Saints' Guard who spent 11 seasons at New Orleans. Evans represented the Saints in six consecutive Pro Bowls, with four appearances on the first-team All-Pro list.
