He was great at both run blocking and pass protection. McDaniel spent 12 seasons at Minnesota, amassing 11 Pro Bowl selections and seven First-Team All-Pro honors. His outstanding gameplay and leadership helped the Vikings reach great offensive success during his time at the club. Paul Krause is the NFL’s all-time leader in interceptions with 81, 53 of which came during his 12 seasons stint with the Vikings. Krause’s ball-hawking skills earned him eight Pro Bowl selections and three First-Team All-Pro honors. He was a key part of the Vikings’ defensive dominance during their four Super Bowl appearances. DE Carl Eller was one of the key factors that played an important role in the Vikings transformation from an expansion team to NFL Powerhouse. His extraordinary play as a pass rusher was feared by rival QBs throughout the league. Eller was at the club for long years and earned earned six Pro Bowl invitations and was a first-team All-Pro five times in his career. He was a major performer on all four of Vikings' Super Bowl teams. Ron Yary was one of the best offensive tackle of his time. His durability and consistency were key in the team's offensive success during their golden era. Yary was with the Vikings for 14 seasons and amassed seven Pro Bowl selections and six First-Team All-Pro honors. The best WR in Vikings history until Randy Moss came along, Cris Carter was known and feared for his sideline catch and reception abilities. In his 12 seasons at Minnesota, he earned eight Pro Bowl selections and was named First-Team All-Pro twice. One of the most dominant DTs of his era, John Randle was known for his tenacity. During his 10 years stint with Minnesota, he earned him six First-Team All-Pro selections and seven Pro Bowl appearances. Alan Page was one of the main pillars of the Vikings’ legendary DL. His defensive prowess helped the Vikings reach four Super Bowls. He earned nine Pro Bowl selections and six First-Team All-Pro honors during his 11-year stint with the team. In 1971, Page became the first defensive player to win the NFL MVP. Fran Tarkenton is arguably the greatest QB in the Vikings' history. He led the team to three Super Bowls during his second stint at the club in the 1970s. With Vikings, he amassed nine Pro Bowl selections and an NFL MVP award for his 1975 season. Tarkenton retired as the NFL’s all-time leader in passing yards, touchdowns, and completions. Easily one of the greatest running backs of all time, Adrian Peterson spent the first 10 years of his career with the Vikings. Although he hung around the league far too long, that doesn't take away from the fact that, at his peak, no RB was feared more. AP led the league in rushing three times and his 2012 season where he ran for 2,097 yards is the second greatest in NFL history. Randy Moss is one of the best WRs of all time. He was the most feared receiving weapon in the league from 1998 through 2004. Moss was voted into the Hall of Fame in 2018.
