The two-time Pro Bowler is one of the premier quarterbacks in Falcons history and a big part of its identity. Michael Vick walked, so that Lamar Jackson could run. A true dual-threat, Vick was the first QB to rush for 1,000 yards in a season. With the Falcons, he made three Pro Bowls and made Atlanta one of the most dangerous offenses in the 2000s. The 'Dirty Bird' might be the stuff of legend, but Jamal Anderson was far more than a dance, as he essentially was the team's offense in the late 1990s. His 1,846 rushing yards were critical to the Falcons making their first Super Bowl in 1998, as he bruised through opposing defenses. An 18-year career as a Center, Jeff Van Note was a six-time Pro Bowler as he anchored the offensive line for nearly two decades under multiple head coach-QB combos. Eventually, he earned a Falcons Ring of Honor, cementing his legacy with the franchise. The Hammer wasn't just a cute nickname, Jessie Tuggle ratcheted up to the all-time leader in Falcons history for tackles as he compiled five Pro Bowl selections. For 14 years, he spearheaded Atlanta's defense, eventually earning a RIng of Honor for his contributions. Claude Humphrey was a physically imposing pass rusher as he earned six Pro Bowls and five All-Pro selections in his tenure as a Falcon. With 126.5 sacks to his name, he is a Pro Football Hall of Famer and his combination of speed, strength, and technique, made him one of the most impossible players to deal with. Five Pro Bowl and All-Pro selections paved the way for the greatest tackle from the 1978 NFL Draft. Another player to get the Falcons' Ring of Honor, his highs were epic with his first All-Pro season allowing 3.5 sacks to his final one, where he gave up just 1 sack. The first ever draft pick in franchise history, Mr. Falcon was an apt name for the legendary linebacker. Tommy Nobis was a five-time Pro Bowl and two-time All-Pro selection, as he begun his career with a Rookie of the Year award, before following it up with 10 additional seasons of excellence as he set the standard in Atlanta. Seven Pro Bowls and two All-Pro selections undercut the sheer dominance Julio Jones brought to the table. One of the greatest wide receivers of his generation, and the franchise leader in passing yards, Jones is undoubtedly one of the greatest players to put on a Falcons jersey. The undisputed greatest quarterback in franchise history, Matt Ryan holds practically every record for the Atlanta Falcons. From passing yards at a mind-numbing 59,735, to touchdowns at 367, Matt Ice was more than just the NFL MVP and Super Bowl-leading QB for the team. A consistent presence year in and year out, Ryan became the leader and face of the franchise for the better part of two decades.
