MSN Slideshow Ranking the 8 Most Likely Women’s Royal Rumble Winners By Pro Football Network FacebookTwitterReddItFlipLinkedinEmail January 31, 2025 | 12:00 PM EST Share FacebookTwitterReddItFlipLinkedinEmail 1 of 8 Jade Cargill has been out of action for a couple of months due to injury. WWE still sees her as a potential main event star, but given how green she remains in the ring, a surprise return, while exciting, is unlikely to also include a Royal Rumble victory. She’s not ready to main event a Wrestlemania. Reports are that Alexa Bliss’ return plans were scrapped due to a potential contract dispute. Is that legitimate or just WWE leaking false information to throw off the scent? It really doesn’t matter. Those reports were from a week ago. By now, Bliss’ contract could be all worked out and her return for the Rumble set. She’s a former champion who is believable as a winner. Nevertheless, after being out of action for nearly two years, Bliss isn’t about to get thrust into a prime Wrestlemania spot. Last year, the fans were firmly behind Bayley getting her shot and winning the title. Given how underwhelming her run was, they’re probably not going to run it back. After just dropping her title to Tiffany Stratton, WWE could give Nia Jax a Royal Rumble win. She’s always an imposing figure in the Rumble, but never ends up on top. If WWE wants to run back Jax vs. Stratton, this is a great way to get there. WWE just gave Iyo Sky a title run. It seems unlikely she would be poised to get one again. Yet, she remains more likely to win than anyone below her. WWE has stuck Bianca Belair in the tag team division for a while now. Winning the Rumble would be a great way to pull her back into singles competition and return her to the main event picture where she belongs. We haven’t seen Becky Lynch in half a year. Her inclusion in the Rumble hasn’t been advertised, but her return is imminent. Lynch is also perennial main event a player and always a threat to win. WWE elected not to go with Charlotte Flair’s return as a surprise, probably because everyone knew it was coming. She is the queen for a reason and by far, the most likely winner. Charlotte vs. Tiffany Stratton as Wrestlemania would be an excellent program.
