He was exceptional at draft selections, selecting names like Joe Gilliam, Terry Bradshaw, Jack Lambert, Lynn Swann, and Franco Harris, while compiling 193 wins in his 23 seasons with the Steelers. 21 years in the league with various teams like Kansas City, Cleveland, San Diego, and Washington, saw Coach Marty Schottenheimer compile 200 victories on his resume. At 273 wins, he is just 55 away from the all-time record, a number he could break in 5 seasons. During his 26-year career, spread almost dead even between Philadelphia and the Chiefs, he has had the opportunity to coach names like Michael Vick, both Kelce brothers, and of course, Patrick Mahomes. The greatest coach of all-time, a lot of Bill Belichick's credentials come from his postseason success. However, he is also responsible for 302 victories in his 29-year career, as well as shaping the career of the GOAT quarterback Tom Brady. For 40 years, George Halas was synonymous with the city of Chicago as their head coach, a run in which he compiled 318 wins in just 497 games. Under his tutelage, the franchise's greatest players like Bronko Nagurski, Mike Ditka, Gale Sayers, and Walter Payton, all walked through the tunnel for the Bears. The all-time leader in coaching wins, Don Shula broke George Halas' record in the second-last season of his 33-year career as a head coach in the league.
