For a couple of weeks, the story of Randy Moss’ health struggle has been making the rounds. After fans pointed out that his eyes looked yellow-er than usual, Moss addressed it on “Sunday NFL Countdown” and sported sunglasses on the show. He recently took a leave of absence, and ESPN announced that he’s dealing with a “personal health challenge.”
Recently, an NFL legend’s father spoke out about Moss’ health issues and got himself in some trouble.
Thaddeus Moss Fires Back at Larry Fitzgerald Sr.
Larry Fitzgerald Sr., the father of Arizona Cardinals legend Larry Fitzgerald Jr., put out a now-deleted tweet detailing what he heard Moss was suffering from.
His tweet read: “66th NFF Hall of Fame Ceremony here in Las Vegas just heard that Vikings HOF Randy Moss has liver cancer. Let’s show the power of prayer and pull Moss through this. I love you Randy.”
Unfortunately, Moss’ son didn’t take too kindly to Fitzgerald’s words. While his sentiment was nice, Thaddeus Moss did not appreciate the post. The 26-year-old went at Larry Sr., calling the post “disgusting.”
“This is disgusting,” he posted. “You have no right to make private matters public for the sake of engagement. I do not believe my father talks to you, so check your f***ing sources.”
This is disgusting. You have no right to try to make private matters public for the sake of engagement. I do not believe my father talks to you , so check your fucking sources

Moss didn’t hold back throughout the exchange. He also disputed Fitzgerald’s reporting after NFL legend Brett Favre responded to the news.
“This is not true,” he said. “My father will address the world when he is ready to.”
Brett , the support is appreciated, truly. This is not true. My father will address the world when he is ready to

It wasn’t just the youngster who brought down the fire on Senior. Even his own son advised his dad to respect the legend’s privacy.
Rather than further instigate the matter, he turned his focus to praying for the legend and his recovery. In a since-deleted tweet, the younger Fitzgerald made his standing on the matter crystal clear.
“Dad, I think it’s best to respect his privacy on this. If he feels ready to share more about his health, he will,” Larry Jr. said. “In the meantime, let’s focus on sending him positive energy, prayers, and support rather than speculating.”
The exact details of Moss’ health battle remain unknown, but let’s hope that whatever his “private health struggle” is, he can return to the booth fit as a fiddle very soon.
