Raiders great Maxx Crosby shared his thoughts on social media about his former teammate Josh Jacobs' run in Green Bay's Wild Card clash.

The Green Bay Packers haven’t had much to smile about going into the closing minutes of the fourth quarter against the Philadelphia Eagles. But running back Josh Jacobs gave them a little hope and almost left Maxx Crosby speechless.

With the Packers down 16-3, Jacobs almost scored on an amazing run that had everyone, including former Las Vegas Raiders teammate Crosby, in awe.

Maxx Crosby’s Reaction to Josh Jacobs’ Second-Half Run

Despite his team not making the playoffs again, Crosby is a football fan like the rest of us. And he saw that amazing run by Jacobs as he was carrying several Eagles along the way, almost into the touchdown.

Crosby was excited like everyone else and said this on X: “JOSH MF JACOBS.”

Crosby and Jacobs were teammates for a long time with the Raiders before Jacobs moved on and became a Green Bay Packer.

Jacobs has rushed for over 1,300 and 15 touchdowns this season, leaving many Raiders fans wondering what would happen if the team had re-signed him.

The decision not to bring him back can be almost compared to the New York Giants letting Saquon Barkley go to the Eagles. Jacobs has proven this season why it was a mistake for the Raiders not to keep him.

Crosby wasn’t the only one in awe of his former teammate. Fans across the NFL were amazed by his run.

“Not resigning Josh alone is a fireable offense,” said one fan.

“And some people wonder why Telesco was dumped,” quipped another.

“I wish he never left dude is beast raiders fumble on that one man smh,” a nostalgic fan commented.

As you can tell, Raider Nation is still heartsick that the team allowed Jacobs to get away from them, and now he is in the playoffs making big plays for the Packers. But as one fan pointed out, they had their chance to re-sign Jacobs — he decided to leave anyway for more money and greener pastures in Green Bay.

The Packers swooped in and signed him to a four-year deal with a potential salary of up to $44 million, and clearly, he was worth every penny.

Jacobs explained in July of last year why he left the Raiders.

“Ultimately, I wanted to come back,” Jacobs via Fox News Digital in a July 3 interview. “I wanted to go back, but when we were having negotiations, and they made their decision, it made my decision pretty easy, honestly.”

There are rumors around the NFL that Crosby may be the next Raiders star out of Vegas, with any Super Bowl-sniffing team in need of an EDGE as the likeliest landing-spot mentions. At the end of the season, he shared his frustration with the team’s loss, and with the team in rebuild mode, it’s anyone’s guess whether he stays as a central part of the rebuild or a trade candidate flipped for draft assets.
