Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua suffered an apparent injury in the club’s Week 14 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Here’s the latest from Sunday’s game.
What Happened to Puka Nacua?
Nacua started grabbing at his right calf after a run block near the start of the fourth quarter.
The second-year wideout was grimacing as he hobbled to the sideline, where he received attention from Los Angeles’ medical staff. Nacua never entered the blue medical tent.
The Rams’ trainers appeared to place a heating/compression device on Nacua’s right calf.

Right leg injuries are especially concerning for Nacua, who suffered a right knee injury during training camp and sprained his PCL in Week 1. He was sidelined from Weeks 2 through 7.
Nacua has been sensational since returning, and his efforts continued in Sunday’s game against the Bills. The former fifth-round pick had hauled in a team-high 10 catches for 124 yards before suffering a potential injury. Nacua also rushed three times for 18 yards and a touchdown.
He ranked fourth among receivers in receptions (38) and five in yards from Weeks 8 through 13.
Did Nacua Return in Week 14?
Fortunately, Nacua appeared to avoid a significant injury.
Nacua returned to the field on the Rams’ next offensive drive. On 2nd-and-4, he hauled in his 11 catch, a 19-yard reception that took Los Angeles into Buffalo territory.
The Rams never announced an update on Nacua’s injury or his status.
