Madden NFL 25 Pre-Order: Everything You Need To Know Including the Date, Cost, Bundles, Updates, and More

Madden NFL 25 will soon satisfy fans who can't wait for the 2024 season. Here's everything to know, including when the game officially gets sold.

Fans of the NFL who can’t wait for the 2024 action to get underway will soon have Madden NFL 25 to ease their football cravings. Every year, the popular video game gets fans excited for the upcoming NFL season. Here’s everything you need to know about Madden NFL 25 and when you’ll be able to play it.

When Can You Pre-Order Madden 25?

Owners of a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X can officially preorder the upcoming addition to the Madden franchise.

Madden claimed that the preorder option allowed fans to have three-day early access to the game between Aug. 13 and Aug. 15. While also giving fans 4,600 Madden points, their choice of two strategy items, plus “superstar drip gear” that includes a custom-made (in-game) jersey.

However, even though the early access start date was announced as August 13, similar to what EA did with College Football 25, you could actually begin playing earlier, starting August 12. Additionally, EA Play subscribers could play a 10-hour trial of Madden NFL 25 beginning on the 12th.

However, the clothing attire is only reserved for owners of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Fans also have the option to preorder the standard or deluxe edition of the video game ahead of its official release.

When Is the Game’s Release Date?

For fans who choose not to preorder and plan to instead wait in line at the store, they have Aug. 16 marked on their calendars. That’s the official date when Madden NFL 25 will be released.

All PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox, and PC game consoles will offer the game worldwide on Aug. 16. The game is annually released in stores in the middle of August, as it arrives toward the end of NFL preseason action.

Madden helps give fans their football fix before the regular season begins.

How Much Does Madden NFL 25 Cost?

There are two separate costs for Madden NFL 25; the standard edition will cost $69.99 while the deluxe edition will cost $99.99.

However, for die-hard fans of both the NFL and college football, there is a bundle option. EA Sports is offering a new package that’ll include the return of EA Sports’ College Football video game. This bundle will be sold at $139.99 online and in stores. The CFB/Madden bundle goes on sale worldwide on Aug. 16.
