Which prospects from the 2024 NFL Draft are best situated to win Rookie of the Year honors after the 2024 NFL regular season? We discussed that topic in-depth on the latest episode of the PFN Scouting Podcast.
PFN Scouting Podcast: Predicting Rookie of the Year Honorees from the 2024 NFL Draft
Now that we’ve had time to review the 2024 NFL Draft selections and let the prospect-team fits settle, it’s time to look ahead to the 2024 season and see which rookies might be primed to produce at a high level right out of the gate.
On the latest episode of the PFN Scouting Podcast, myself and fellow Scouting and Fantasy Football Analyst Derek Tate went over our top choices for Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Year, and we also provided deep sleepers to keep an eye out for.
Quarterbacks are obviously at the forefront of the discussion; C.J. Stroud was the winner last year, even amidst a historic season from Puka Nacua. Consequently, players like Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye are near the top of the list this season.
That said, six of the last ten OROY winners have been non-QBs.
So how do players like Marvin Harrison Jr., Rome Odunze, Malik Nabers, and others stack up? Are there any running backs who could enter the fold? Those points are also discussed.
Pass-rushers took precedence on the defensive side of the ball, but ball hawks like Terrion Arnold, Quinyon Mitchell, and Tyler Nubin could also find themselves in the conversation with good years.
The bottom line is: It’s a stacked rookie class, and there are many names to keep on the radar.
