How Many Picks Do the Eagles Have in the 2025 NFL Draft?
Currently, the Eagles have eight picks in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Philadelphia recently traded three picks (a third-rounder and two seventh-rounders) to the Washington Commanders for Jahan Dotson, but they also acquired a fifth-round pick as part of the trade. The also sent Kenny Pickett to the Browns in exchange for a fifth round pick and QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
The Eagles obtained an extra third-round pick from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a 2024 fourth-round pick that the Dolphins spent on running back Jaylen Wright.
In Round 4, the Eagles and Lions essentially swapped picks in a saga that started with a D’Andre Swift trade to the Eagles and ended with a Lions trade-up from the fifth round to the fourth in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Eagles also acquired an extra fifth-round selection from the Houston Texans when the latter traded up to the fourth round to take Ohio State tight end Cade Stover.
What Are the Eagles’ Biggest Needs in 2025?
The Philadelphia Eagles were the last team standing at the end of Super Bowl 59, and their roster is set fairly nicely heading into 2025. They will return most of their key starters, and there are only a couple of areas that need urgent attention this offseason.
Most of those needs come on the defensive side of the ball, where they ranked second overall last season. Three potential free agents stand out: Zach Baun, Josh Sweat, and Milton Williams. You can argue the importance of those three players and their positions, but the Eagles will need to add a starting linebacker, while the other two could potentially be replaced with role players if needs be.

At cornerback, the need is more about depth than needing to add starting-level talent. Quinyon Mitchell, Darius Slay, and Cooper DeJean is a fantastic trio, with some useful pieces just behind them on the depth chart. However, you can never have too much depth at cornerback, so the Eagles could benefit from adding more quality depth options.
Offensively, they are in a great spot when it comes to nine of the 11 starters. They need to replace Mekhi Becton at right guard. Even if that is Tyler Steen, then they will need to add backup options on the interior of the line to ensure they do not see a major drop-off if one of the starters were to go down. Adding more depth at tackle should not be overlooked, either.
You can also argue that the Eagles need a third wide receiver this offseason. However, Jahan Dotson stepped up in the Super Bowl, which could lead to a more consistent role in 2025 as he heads toward free agency next offseason.
