Peyton and Eli Manning Among Those Poke Fun At ‘Obvious’ Flop by Packers Lineman
Here was the sequence: Packers offensive lineman Zach Tom gets into a shoving match with Raiders Pro Bowl edge rusher Maxx Crosby. The Vegas defender shoves Tom from behind — but the second-year pro out of Wake Forest takes a unique dive.

The famed quarterback siblings couldn’t help but call it what they believed it was.

“Let’s see if it’s a flop here,” Peyton Manning says in looking at the replay. He even asked his brother, “are offensive linemen allowed to flop?”
Both two-time Super Bowl winners agreed on the intent of Tom’s dive: “That is a flop.”
Peyton Manning added: “The NBA, they’re outlawing flopping. Do we have to get that in the NFL? Does Commissioner Silver have to call Commissioner Goodell?”
Fans immediately took to social media to give their reactions to the fallout of the Crosby shove.
‘Someone Needs To Give Zach Tom an Oscar for This Flop’ Among Notable Reactions
Some fans who chimed in began to believe Tom’s performance was Oscar-worthy.
Clutch Points was one account that believed Tom deserved an Academy Award, sharing the belief he was doing an acting job.

Raiders insider/columnist for The Athletic Vic Tafur also believed Tom was flopping on the field.
“Crosby with a shove in the back. Flop? Yeah. Still 15-yard penalty,” Tafur posted.
The Bussin With the Boys account chimed in by thinking Tom was attempting a belly flop at Allegiant Stadium.
In going back to broadcast, even Monday Night Football’s Joe Buck began to think he was watching a Vegas show courtesy of Tom.
“What kind of a splash would that get in the pool? That was a bellyflop…Wow, that was well done. Seeing a live Vegas show,” Buck said.
