James Robinson Anytime TD (+195)
Welcome to the Big Apple, James Robinson. I love that the Jets acquired Robinson for what someone like Kareem Hunt likely would’ve cost. Robinson has another year on his rookie deal and is a solid starting back. He’ll work in an excellent tandem with Michael Carter.
Bet $5 on the over of Robinson’s rushing total and win $200 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
I don’t expect Robinson to get a ton of looks, but his touches should come in the red zone. Carter has been ineffective in the 20s, with only 30 yards and two scores on 14 carries. Breece Hall was the better back all-around, but it especially showed in the red zone.
With this game expected to be a low-scoring affair, the Jets will need to give their best back the ball in the most important situations. Robinson is their RB1 as soon as he’s comfortable enough to play more than a percentage of touches. I expect Robinson to have a goal-line opportunity today, and I love the potential return here.
Rhamondre Stevenson Over 62.5 Rushing Yards (-120)
Taking Stevenson’s over on rushing yards is a weekly staple for me at this point. Averaging a nice 69.6 rushing yards per game, Stevenson has only gone under twice all year, with last week’s 39-yard performance as one of them. But Stevenson has been massively involved in the offense even with Damien Harris back, earning eight targets and 59 yards as a receiver.
Stevenson and this Patriots offense will get back more on track this week with their effectiveness. The Jets have a good defense that holds their own, but they’re far from a dominant bunch.

Bill Belichick is looking to move into second place for all-time head coaching wins this week and close in on 100 career wins against the AFC East, so he knows how to make adjustments off a poor performance.
The Jets will compete and make it ugly, but Stevenson is the lynchpin for the unit. Look for him to ball out.
Jakobi Meyers Over 50.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
We don’t know how the Patriots’ quarterback situation will play out between Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe, but I can guess we’ll see both players on Sunday. Jones has been the lesser option between the two young passers, but his pedigree is giving him another chance before Bill Belichick benches him for good. Honestly, neither looks good enough to be a franchise guy, but Zappe deserves a chance.
The Jets have been even better than the Patriots at allowing production to receivers, thanks to the fun tandem of Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed. But I’m looking for a bit of a bounce-back week from Jakobi Meyers, who has been the best, most consistent weapon in the Patriots’ receiving corps. He had only 34 yards against Chicago last week but had a month of 55 or more yards before that trainwreck.
Meyers is leading the team in all receiving categories for good reason. He’s a solid athlete with terrific hands, catching almost 79% of all targets on the season. Look for him to be the safety blanket again for this offense.
Garrett Wilson Under 40.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
The saddest result of Zach Wilson’s return has been the disappearance of Garrett Wilson. Garrett was building a solid Offensive Rookie of the Year case until Zach came back from injury. Since then, Garrett Wilson has had one game with more than 40 yards and has a combined 59 receiving yards over the last three weeks.
As much as I love Garrett’s talent and believe he can take over any given game, we have to fade his props until Zach proves he can sustain a productive passing attack. The Patriots have a solid secondary that will force Zach Wilson to look inside the numbers more often than his outside receivers. Only a handful of defenses have done better than the Patriots in terms of allowing receiver production.
