Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs’ franchise quarterback, is the apple of the KC clan’s eyes for his on-field presence. Yet, there’s no denying that he is as much of a star off the field as he is on it.
Mahomes has contributed significantly to the legacy started by his father as a great sportsperson with dazzling plays and three Super Bowl wins. Beyond the gridiron, his life is a fascinating mix of family, luxury, and business.
Patrick Mahomes’ Parents and Personal Life
Born in Tyler, Texas, in 1995, Mahomes is the son of former MLB pitcher Pat Mahomes Sr. and Randi Martin. His parents went through a divorce in 2006 but have remained devoted to co-parenting. They are often seen cheering Patrick on, along with his brother Jackson Mahomes.
Mahomes is an evangelical Christian who found his faith during middle school. Apart from being a terrific quarterback, Mahomes likes to play golf and baseball in his free time. He has also participated in several celebrity tournaments, including the American Century Championship five years ago.
A Net Worth Fit for Royalty
Mahomes has an estimated net worth of $90 million, which is also fueled by his $450 million, 10-year contract, and endorsement deals with brands like State Farm, Adidas, and T-Mobile, which bring in $7 million annually. By 2030, Mahomes is on track to become the NFL’s highest career earner.
Mahomes’ endorsement journey began following the 2018 MVP season with a contract from Hunt’s for his love of ketchup. As of now, he has deals with brands like Oakley, Essentia Water, Hy-Vee, State Farm, DirectTV, Adidas, Head & Shoulders, and even Helzberg Diamonds, which has released a line of necklaces featuring his logo.
Mahomes has also appeared in commercials for Coors Light, T-Mobile, and beverage manufacturer Prime.
Mahomes Cars and Crib
Mahomes’ car collection is valued at a staggering $1.5 million. Naturally, his ownership of some of the top cars reflects his love for luxury and speed. Highlights of his collection include a Ferrari 812 Superfast, a Lamborghini Urus, and a Rolls-Royce Cullinan customized with his jersey number. He even won a Genesis G70 as the Pro Bowl MVP in 2019.
