Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the face of the NFL and surrounds himself with a tight-knit group of family members. His wife, children, brother, and children are often seen on game broadcasts as they support the star QB at games.
Let’s take a deeper look at Mahomes’ family and who he has in his inner circle.
Patrick Mahomes’ Parents
Mahomes’ parents are his mom, Randi, and his dad, Patrick Mahomes Sr. The parents met in Texas, and Randi gave birth to Patrick in 1995 when she was just 20 years old.
Randi is Mahomes’ biggest supporter and is often seen at games with other members of the Chiefs’ quarterback’s family. She runs her own website, the QB Producer, and has been by Mahomes’ side throughout his career.
Mahomes Sr. is a former Major League Baseball player, and Patrick has clearly inherited his athletic traits. Spending 11 years as a pitcher in the MLB, Mahomes Sr. had a record of 42-39 and 452 strikeouts. He retired in 2003.
Randi and Mahomes Sr. divorced in 2006, but while they are no longer together, they remain friends.
Mahomes’ Siblings
Mahomes has multiple siblings, with Jackson Mahomes being the most famous. Jackson is a popular social media influencer who is often seen at Chiefs’ games supporting Mahomes. The brother has proven controversial over the years, but Patrick has always supported his sibling.
There are four other siblings that Mahomes has on both sides of his family, from other relationships his parents have had. Grant, Avery, and Zoe Mahomes are all on his father’s side. Meanwhile, Randi has a daughter, Mia Randall, who the Chiefs’ QB is also very close to.
“Patrick is always keeping tabs on what Mia’s doing,” Randi told PEOPLE. “Both him and Brittany. It’s a fun relationship for them to have, and being that I was so nervous they wouldn’t know each other, I can say now that they know each other.
“I’ll send him clips of her basketball games, and he’s like, ‘Well, tell me what she scored,’ and then he’ll ask all about it, and I do that with Jackson and him both.”
Mahomes’ Wife and Children
Mahomes met his wife Brittany in high school and had been together well before the quarterback entered the NFL. The couple got engaged in 2020 and married in Hawaii in 2022.
Brittany has become a celebrity of her own and is recognized across the country. While she is now most famous for being Mahomes’ wife and appearing on social media, she once was a soccer player.
She played for the University of Texas at Tyler, and after leaving college, spent a year in Iceland playing soccer but didn’t get her contract extended past one season. Carrying on her soccer roots, Brittany is now a co-owner of the NWSL team the Kansas City Current.
Together, Patrick and Brittany have two children, Sterling and Bronze. Their daughter, Sterling, was born in February 2021, just days after the Chiefs lost Super Bowl 55 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Their son, Bronze, born in November 2022, is the most recent addition to the Mahomes family. Bronze’s full name is Patrick Mahomes III — the nickname Bronze comes from him now being the third Patrick Mahomes.
Explaining how he came up with the moniker, Mahomes told USA Today, “When we had Sterling, we didn’t know if it was a boy or girl, so we thought of a name that could be a boy or girl. And we wanted them to have a connection.

”I always wanted to do Patrick Mahomes III, ever since I was a kid. I always thought it would be Trey, you hear that a lot. So when me and Jackson were trying to think of something unique, he thought of ‘Bronze.’ It fits perfectly with Sterling. They can have that connection moving forward.”
