The teams traded touchdowns to open the game, as Chuba Hubbard’s 38-yard touchdown run was answered by a 34-yard DJ Moore touchdown reception.
However, the Bears blew open the game in the second quarter, scoring three touchdowns to take a 20-point halftime lead. Caleb Williams found Moore for another 30-yard TD, while D’Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson each added one-yard scores on the ground.

Defensively, the Bears clamped down after the early Hubbard touchdown. A Jaquan Brisker strip-sack in the second quarter led to Swift’s touchdown, while Kevin Byard’s interception set up the Bears’ only points of the third quarter.

Roschon Johnson closed it out with another rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter, giving the Bears their largest win since the 2021 regular season finale vs the New York Giants (also a 26-point win).
Next week, the Panthers will host the NFC South-leading Atlanta Falcons, while the Bears will play the Jacksonville Jaguars in London (Chicago is the designated home team that game).
