Packers vs. Dolphins: Top DraftKings Prop Bets To Target

We’re using every tool at our disposal to make sharp prop bets for this heavyweight matchup, including fantasy averages, player trends, and the best vig. Let’s dive into the best player props you can target.

Aaron Rodgers Over 1.5 Pass TDs (+100)

Rodgers has yet to hit the over on this line over the past two weeks with games against Chicago and the Rams, but there are reasons to believe he’ll get back to 2+ passing touchdowns again in Week 16.

First off, the weather in Miami is one of the more favorable situations across the entire league this week. With projected temperatures around 53° this weekend, we shouldn’t be concerned about weather impacting the passing game — which is not the case for nearly every other matchup in Week 16.

Additionally, the Dolphins’ defense is currently allowing the third-most passing touchdowns this year, with 1.7 per game. Meanwhile, their run defense is allowing just the 4th fewest rushing yards per contest at just 70.6.

This could lead to the Packers’ offense leaning on their passing game more in Week 16 and featuring their dynamic playmakers.

Allen Lazard Under 43.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Lazard had consistently been a substantial part of this Packers’ passing game in recent weeks, but he was essentially relegated to running wind sprints in Week 15 with the return of Romeo Doubs.

Despite playing 94% of the offensive snaps against the Rams, Lazard saw just two targets and tied with Robert Tonyan for the fifth-most targets on the team. While the snap percentage indicates that Lazard could easily bounce back more of a factor again, it’s likely that Rodgers will primarily look for Lazard as just a red zone option.

After having just one reception for seven yards last week, 43.5 receiving yards seems like an easy choice to bet against in this matchup.

Robert Tonyan Under 21.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Did you know that we have to go back to Week 9 to find the last time that Tonyan finished a game with more than 20 receiving yards?

He has been phased out of the target share in recent weeks with the return of Doubs into the lineup combined with the emergence of Christian Watson. While the matchup against the Dolphins is a favorable one for opposing TEs, Tonyan has done very little recently to justify a line even this high.

After having just two receptions over the past two games, it seems like a safe bet to lean on the under here.
