Packers vs. Raiders Predictions, Picks, Odds Today: Davante Adams, Josh Jacobs, Jordan Love and More

It's the Davante Adams revenge game on Monday Night Football, and PFN's betting team makes their Packers vs. Raiders predictions, player prop bets, and more.

It’s not the best game, but it’s still the NFL. To wrap up Week 5, we have the Green Bay Packers vs. Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football.

The biggest storyline for Packers vs. Raiders is that it’s the Davante Adams revenge game, as he gets to go against his former team for the first time since they traded him in the 2022 offseason.

Jimmy Garoppolo cleared concussion protocol on Friday and will get the start tonight after missing last week’s game. Jimmy G has been efficient throwing the football, completing 68% of his passes and averaging 7.5 yards per attempt, but he has thrown six interceptions in three games.

For the Raiders to snap their losing streak tonight, it will be important to get Josh Jacobs going, who is having a far worse season on the ground than he did as the NFL rushing leader a year ago. Through four games this season, Jacobs is averaging 2.7 yards per carry and has just one TD.

The Packers are coming off an embarrassing double-digit defeat at home against the Detroit Lions last week, but they have had plenty of time to prepare for the Raiders. Jordan Love, in particular, is looking to bounce back after throwing two interceptions last week.

It’s not the most exciting matchup tonight, but you’re still going to want to bet on it, so let’s dive into the Packers vs. Raiders predictions from the PFN betting team.

Bearman: This line confuses me. I get the Raiders are at home in prime time and all that, but did you watch them in this same spot against the Pittsburgh Steelers just two weeks ago?

The Raiders are 1-3, with their lone win coming as a fourth-quarter comeback win against a bad Denver Broncos team. We are one play away from talking about the winless Raiders’ chances for Caleb Williams.

I’m not saying the Packers are great, as we saw how bad they looked last week vs. the Lions. But they also have had 11 days off and are a much better team. I won’t even take the points, and I’ll go straight up.

Packers vs. Raiders Pick: Packers ML (+105 at DraftKings)

Blewis: Even with such a short spread, I don’t trust either team to cover here, so I’m going to go with a player prop as my favorite bet.

Christian Watson is the perfect type of wide receiver for Jordan Love, and he should be healthier for this one after playing limited snaps in Week 4, considering the 11 days of rest, as Bearman mentioned. Love leads all starting QBs in aDOT so far this season, and Watson’s specialty is being a deep-threat WR. Tonight, Watson gets to go against a Raiders pass defense that has allowed a reception of at least 40 yards three weeks in a row.

Watson’s line for his longest completion tonight is 19.5 — he hit this last week on just two targets. Let’s bank on him hitting it again with more opportunity.

Packers vs. Raiders Pick: Christian Watson longest reception over 19.5 yards (-114 at FanDuel)

Katz: I very rarely give out picks on sides or totals. It’s just not my thing. But after the Packers got embarrassed by the Lions last Thursday night, I’m feeling a bounce-back performance.

The Packers will have had the longest possible rest between games that isn’t a bye week. They should have a healthier Aaron Jones and Watson. The Raiders struggle to stop the passing game. All of this points to a Packers assault.

Packers vs. Raiders Pick: Green Bay Packers team total over 22.5 (-115 at DraftKings)
