The Green Bay Packers will travel to take on the Detroit Lions in Week 14, with kickoff scheduled for 8:15 PM ET on Thursday Night Football. Below is the final injury report and player analysis heading into the game.

Green Bay Packers Week 14 Injury Report
Jaire Alexander, CB
Alexander (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday night’s matchup.
Alexander appeared to be on track to play in Thursday night’s divisional matchup after opening the Packers’ week of practice with consecutive estimated limited sessions.
However, he downgraded to no participation Wednesday, suggesting that his knee injury remains too significant for him to play in Week 14. The Packers are expected to continue starting Keisean Nixon and Carrington Valentine as their top outside cornerbacks until Alexander recovers from his knee issue.
Corey Ballentine, CB
Ballentine (knee) has been ruled out. The sixth-year pro from Washburn was estimated as a non-participant throughout the Packers’ week of practice after sustaining a knee injury in a Thanksgiving Day win over the Dolphins, so his absence Thursday night comes as no surprise.
Expect Robert Rochell and Eric Stokes to serve as the Packers’ top backup corners with Ballentine sidelined in Week 14.
Edgerrin Cooper, LB
Cooper (hamstring) has been ruled out. He is now in line to miss his third consecutive game Thursday night after sustaining a hamstring injury in Green Bay’s practice.
The 2024 second-round pick is a significant loss to the Packers’ linebacker corps, having recorded 52 total tackles, including 2.5 sacks, and one forced fumble in 10 appearances this season.
Isaiah McDuffie is expected to remain one of the Packers’ starting inside linebackers in Week 14 while Cooper continues to nurse his injury.
Josh Jacobs, RB
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs was limited by his ongoing calf injury at every practice this week. However, he was removed from the club’s injury report on Wednesday and will play on Thursday Night Football again at the division-rival Lions.
On Wednesday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport called Jacobs’ calf issue a “nagging” problem.
Jacobs has been battling this same issue for several weeks but hasn’t missed time. Green Bay gave the veteran RB two days’ worth of rest during pre-Week 13 practices. Jacobs has touched the ball 71 times over the Packers’ last three games, so the club was likely exuding caution.
Romeo Doubs, WR
Packers wideout Romeo Doubs is still battling a concussion and will not play against the Lions on TNF.
Doubs missed the club’s Thanksgiving Night win against the Dolphins but returned to practice this week. He was officially listed as limited for every practice. Still, the third-year wideout couldn’t recover in time for this week’s contest.
Packers head coach Matt Lafleur said earlier this week Doubs progressed to the point where playing in Week 14 was at least on the table. However, LaFleur also continuously responded with “we’ll see” when asked if Doubs would suit up.
With another week-plus of recovery, Doubs should be ready for Week 15 vs. the Seahawks. Dontayvion Wicks will take his place in the Packers’ three-WR sets on Thursday night.
Final Packers Injury Report
Jaire Alexander, CB (Knee) – Out; Corey Ballentine, CB (Knee) – Out; Kenny Clark, DL (NIR – Rest) – playing; Edgerrin Cooper, LB (Hamstring) – Out; Romeo Doubs, WR (Concussion) – Out; John FitzPatrick, TE (Back) – playing; Josh Jacobs, RB (Calf) – playing; Elgton Jenkins, G/T (Knee) – playing; Isaiah McDuffie, LB (Ankle) – playing; Arron Mosby, DL (Gameday Concussion Protocol Evaluation) – Unspecified; Josh Myers, C/G (Pectoral) – playing; Rasheed Walker, T (Knee) – playing; Colby Wooden, DL (Shoulder) – playing
Detroit Lions Week 14 Injury Report
Taylor Decker, OT
Decker (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday night’s game against the Packers. HE will miss a second straight game. Dan Skipper made the start at left tackle last Thursday against Chicago and should be there again this Thursday night versus Green Bay.
Josh Paschal, DE
Paschal (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday night’s matchup against the Packers.
Paschal didn’t practice all week after suffering a knee injury in Detroit’s Thanksgiving Day win over the Bears, so it’s no surprise he won’t be active for Week 14.
The Lions could struggle rushing the passer Thursday night, with both Paschal and Aidan Hutchinson (tibia/fibula) sidelined. Patrick O’Connor and Za’Darius Smith are now expected to serve as Detroit’s primary edge-rushing duo.
Levi Onwuzurike, DT
Onwuzurike (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday night’s matchup against the Packers.
The 26-year-old sustained a hamstring injury in the Lions’ Thanksgiving Day win over the Bears and was unable to practice throughout the week.
With both Owunzurike and DJ Reader (shoulder) ruled out for Thursday night’s divisional matchup, Myles Adams and Brodric Martin will likely see increased snaps with Detroit’s first-team defense.
DJ Reader, DT
Reader (shoulder) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday night’s matchup. He was unable to practice all week after likely sustaining a shoulder injury in the Lions’ Week 13 win over the Bears, so it’s no surprise he won’t suit up for Thursday night’s divisional matchup.
Brodric Martin is expected to serve as one of Detroit’s first-team interior defensive linemen in Reader’s stead in Week 14.
Final Lions Injury Report
Taylor Decker, OT (Knee) – Out; Levi Onwuzurike, DT (Hamstring) – Out; Joshua Paschal, DE (Knee) – Out; D.J. Reader, DT (Shoulder) – Out; Carlton Davis, CB (Knee) – playing; Emmanuel Moseley, DB (Hamstring) – playing
