The Green Bay Packers take a three-game winning streak on the road to face the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. The Giants have won the last two games after losing six of the first eight games. Green Bay is coming off a win against the Kansas City Chiefs last week and started the week as the last Wild Card team in the NFC.
This is New York’s fifth prime-time game of the season, and the Giants have lost the first four appearances. Green Bay is 1-1 in prime-time and is scheduled to play the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night in Week 17.
Packers-Giants Announcers for Monday Night Football
The traditional broadcast with Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, and Lisa Salters will be on ABC and ESPN. Buck and Aikman are in their 22nd season together in a broadcast booth, a record-breaking season after surpassing the legendary pair of Pat Summerall and John Madden.
Buck, who started his broadcasting career in minor league baseball, called 24 World Series and 22 MLB All-Star games while at FOX. His father, Jack, called Monday Night Football on the radio from 1978–1984 and 1987–1995.
Aikman was the first overall pick in the 1989 draft by the Dallas Cowboys out of UCLA. He was the starting quarterback when the Cowboys became the first team to win three Super Bowls in four years. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2008.

Salters, who joined ESPN in 2000, has been the MNF sideline reporter since 2012. She is also a sideline reporter during the NBA season for ABC and ESPN. She worked for ABC News from 1995 to 2000 before joining ESPN.
John Parry, who was an NFL official for 19 seasons, is the rule analyst for the broadcast. His final game as an official was as referee for Super Bowl LIII between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams. Parry officiated 16 total postseason games, including three Super Bowls, during his career.
Three Choices for Monday Night
At 8:15 p.m. ET, the Titans will take on the Dolphins in Miami on ESPN, and the Green Bay Packers visiting the New York Giants will be on ABC. Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, and Lisa Salters will be on the call for the Packers-Giants.
NFL greats Peyton and Eli Manning will be doing the ManningCast, an alternate broadcast on ESPN2. The brothers will provide an interesting alternative by watching and providing analysis for both games.
Coverage begins with Monday Night Countdown starting at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN, with host Scott Van Pelt and former players Ryan Clark, Marcus Spears, and Robert Griffin III providing analysis. Michelle Beisner-Buck and NFL insider Adam Schefter are also part of the show.
This is the third time this season that there have been two different games on Monday night. ESPN will have a traditional doubleheader on the Saturday of Week 18, with games at 4:30 p.m. ET and 8:15 p.m. ET.
