Owain Jones’ 2025 NFL Mock Draft for Each AFC West Team: Raiders Solve QB Dilemma

Which players will land in the AFC West during next year's NFL Draft? We dive into 2025 NFL Mock Draft picks for each of the AFC West's four teams.

With preseason games well underway, we’re inching closer and closer to the 2024 NFL season, and our latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft looks at some needs that must be addressed. As summer scouting boards get set, which prospects have shown the potential to be first-round picks in the 2025 NFL Draft?

Using reverse Super Bowl odds for the order and a little help from the updated PFN Mock Draft Simulator for the selections, we attempt to predict who will hear their name called at Lambeau Field next April. In this installment, we look at picks for each of the four teams in the AFC West.

2025 NFL Mock Draft: AFC West Edition

    4) Denver Broncos: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

Mason Graham is a dominant interior defensive tackle who overwhelms opposing offensive linemen with his brute strength, heavy hands, and size (6’3” and 318 pounds). The Michigan defender plays with unnatural explosiveness and can take over games with his playmaking capacity and ability to control the point of attack.

    5) Las Vegas Raiders: Carson Beck, QB, Georgia

Carson Beck may be in a different mold than the flashy QB prospects we have seen in recent seasons, but the Georgia passer is easily the most polished and refined signal caller through summer scouting.

Beck has excellent decision-making skills and pinpoint accuracy when being precise from the pocket. He is an on-schedule thrower who processes the field quickly and operates with incredible timing and clean mechanics.

    18) Los Angeles Chargers: Deone Walker, DT, Kentucky

Deone Walker is a rare athlete and a transformative interior pass rusher. In 2023, the Kentucky DT played with the requisite explosiveness to eradicate opponents’ blocks, with 7.5 sacks and 12.5 TFLs.

At 6’6” and 248 pounds, Walker has special body control and athleticism to propel him up draft boards if he can consistently lower his pad level.

    32) Kansas City Chiefs: Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss

Mocking Walter Nolen in the first round is a projection. The Ole Miss transfer is still incredibly raw, and the former five-star recruit hasn’t yet lived but the billing.

When Nolen wins at 6’3” and 300 pounds, he does so from his natural energetic movement, power, and range. If the new Rebels defensive tackle can develop and play with more control, refinement, and consistency, he has the talent profile to be drafted in the first round.
