With the Week 15 Rams-Seahawks matchup moving from Monday to Tuesday, many fantasy football managers will earn an extra day of stress. But do not fear — the wait might be worth it. If you’re planning to start Rams receivers, you might be in great shape. Here are the latest realistic fantasy outlooks for Cooper Kupp, Odell Beckham Jr., and Van Jefferson.
Odell Beckham Jr. or Van Jefferson: Who to start behind Cooper Kupp
Not much needs to be said, but in a COVID-19 world, we need to say something. The Rams have been overwhelmed with COVID-positive tests recently — 25 players were on the reserve list as the weekend began. So, we cannot assume anything true today will still be true tomorrow.
That said, if we’re going to be on any receiver Tuesday night, it’s Kupp. The overall fantasy WR1 is averaging 25.8 fantasy points per game, which is 0.2 higher than Davante Adams’ highest recorded average. As long as Kupp is playing, he should be in your lineup.
Odell Beckham Jr. Week 15 fantasy outlook
Now things get a little trickier, but only a little. OBJ was added to the COVID-19 list this past Tuesday. He then tweeted “Negative” on Friday, which is not the first time players have imparted not-so-cryptic fantasy advice. He was then removed from the COVID/reserve list Saturday evening.
A cleared-to-play Beckham, plus a potentially positive game script against the Seahawks, equals a fantasy output much higher than zero. The 29-year-old is only the WR60, but in three games with the Rams, he’s been the WR9 (Week 12), WR33 (Week 13), and WR11 (Week 14). He should be in fantasy lineups in Week 15 as a WR3-floor, WR1-upside receiver.
Van Jefferson Week 15 fantasy outlook
Who is the only Rams wideout not to score in each of the last three games? Kupp. That’s right, Van Jefferson has been money in the bank since Los Angeles lost Robert Woods on the same day they signed OBJ. His targets per game have jumped from 5.3 to 7.3, while his receptions per game have increased from 2.7 to 4.3.
However, it’s important to note that Darrell Henderson was out for Weeks 13 and 14, while Tyler Higbee missed Week 14. Can Jefferson maintain his higher usage if everyone is healthy? Against a Seahawks defense that’s the eighth-stingiest against fantasy WRs, I would tread carefully with Jefferson. He likely needs to score again to be a top-30 WR in Week 15.
