Nico Collins Fantasy Outlook This Week

The Collins level-up has begun, and he has another chance to boost his stats in Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons. Collins is averaging over five catches and over 100 yards on eight targets per game and has caught half of Stroud’s six passing touchdowns this season.

We have Collins in the top 20 WR mix in our Week 5 fantasy football rankings, and I see a game script where the Texans will want to open up the offense to not get caught in a ground-and-pound affair with the Atlanta Falcons. Collins is the unequivocal No. 1 in this pass-first offense, with Woods and Dell as above-average complements.

Robert Woods’ Fantasy Outlook This Week

Robert Woods can start in your fantasy lineup in certain situations. He is steady and reliable for three to six catches and around 40-60 yards but hasn’t hauled in a touchdown all year.

When Houston is far from the end zone, they take their shots with Collins and the emerging Tank Dell. Even Woods is enamored with the diminutive rookie. But when Houston gets in the red zone, they run it with Dameon Pierce.

Woods is WR48 in our rankings, so if you need a steady Flex play or WR4, he could be your guy. Just keep your expectations low.

Which of the Texans Wide Receivers Should You Start?

This is a smash decision: Start Nico Collins over Robert Woods in every scenario.

Collins is an ascending talent who should be a WR2 or better in all leagues. The real question should be, should you start Robert Woods or Tank Dell? In that case, it depends on whether you need an upside play with Dell or a high floor with Woods.
