‘Too Little Too Late’ – NFL World Responds to Former LB Apologizing for Josh Allen Take

One former NFL linebacker admitted that his Josh Allen and Buffalo Bills preseason predictions and opinions were wrong.

Former NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho has admitted that he was wrong about Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills this season. While discussing the Bills’ massive Divisional Round win over the Lamar Jackson-led Baltimore Ravens on the popular show “The Facility,” Acho detailed how he was wrong to say that the Bills’ Super Bowl window was closed prior to the season.

Allen and the Bills defeated the Ravens by a score of 27-25 from Highmark Stadium. Allen only had 147 yards of total offense as a passer and runner, however, had two rushing touchdowns in the contest. In addition, he did not turn the ball over and was crucial when he needed to be as well.

Social Media Reaction to Emmanuel Acho’s Josh Allen Take

Acho took to social media to express his misgivings about his preseason opinions. He also outlined his new belief that the Bills’ Super Bowl window will remain open as long as Allen remains in Buffalo.

“I was wrong. I repeat, I was wrong! As long as Josh Allen is in Buffalo, their Super Bowl window is open. #BillsMafia,” he stated.

In response, one individual detailed how they thought Acho was only saying this because he was being called out on social media for his previous opinion.

“Too little too late. You’re only saying this now cause you’re getting clowned,” they added.

Meanwhile, one user made clear their belief that the Bills were a complete team in response to Acho’s claim in the video that the rest of the Bills roster was replaceable.

“The Bills roster is very well put together. O-line doesn’t get enough credit. Allen usually has plenty of time,” they added.

    Buffalo Bills AFC Championship Preview

With the win, the Bills will face Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. The Chiefs finished as the No. 1 seed, and the Bills were the No. 2 seed. The monumental Allen-Mahomes quarterback matchup will take place at the home of the Chiefs, GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

To advance to the Super Bowl, the Bills’ defense will need to shut down Mahomes and Travis Kelce, as the latter had over 100 receiving yards last game as well as a touchdown. Offensively, the Bills will need to continue playing their balanced style of football, one that features Allen, James Cook, and Khalil Shakir should they want to advance to this year’s Super Bowl in New Orleans.

The much-anticipated Bills-Chiefs clash will air Jan. 26, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. ET, with Jim Nantz and Tony Romo on the CBS call.
