Posted by Jets Today on X (formerly known as Twitter), the account posted a short clip via One Jets Drive of Rodgers walking into the facility without needing any assistance.

This clip was before the Jets took on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football in Week 4. That was also a game that saw Rodgers in attendance.

Rodgers is even seen in the video walking under his own power.

It was back in Week 1 when the newest Jets QB1 shocked the NFL world by going down with a torn Achilles. His ailment occurred in the first offensive possession for the Jets against the rival Buffalo Bills.

The Super Bowl-winning quarterback with the Green Bay Packers was ruled out for the rest of the season after that injury. But now, this clip of him walking sparked a multitude of reactions — including if he could come back sooner than expected.

Fans immediately spread their reactions like a brush fire across social media.

“I am no doctor, but this seems truly impossible,” Jets Today shared.

Radio personality Paul “Boy Green” Esden of The Score 1260 also gave an excited reaction, including saying, “QB1 is looking great in rehab.”

Others called Rodgers’ recovery “the quickest recovery of all-time” and “inspiring.”

How Have the Jets Fared Offensively Without Rodgers?

With Rodgers not inside the Jets’ huddle, former top three NFL Draft pick of the 2021 class Zach Wilson has had to handle the QB reins under intense scrutiny — from replacing Rodgers to showing that he can play quarterback at a high level.

How have the Jets fared without “A-Rod” behind center? The Jets have still had their struggles on offense.

They’re 27th overall in averaging 283.6 yards per game, giving them the worst mark among AFC East teams. The team is also 24th in scoring offense with 18.6 points per game. Only the New England Patriots are worse in the divisional realm — an average of 11 points per game.

The Jets, however, managed to put up a season-high 31 points in last week’s win over the Denver Broncos. That production broke a three-week slump for the Jets that saw them score between 10-20 points in the last three weeks.

Wilson is yet to throw for 300 yards in a game this season. He currently has 911 passing yards with four touchdown passes and five interceptions. He did toss two aerial scores against the Chiefs despite the loss on October 1.

Versus Denver, Wilson went 19-of-26 for 199 yards and was intercepted once. He witnessed the Jets’ ground game chew up the Broncos by averaging 7.3 yards per carry and tallying 234 rushing yards.
