‘Bro Couldn’t Choose’ – NFL World Goes Wild as Shedeur Sanders & Cam Ward Put Giants Fan on the Spot

Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward put a New York Giants fan on the spot at the East-West Shrine Bowl. Who did he choose and how did fans react?

Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders and Miami Hurricanes Heisman finalist Cam Ward are competing for the right to be the first passer off the board in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The New York Giants are viewed as the team most likely to pick a quarterback after parting ways with Daniel Jones in the middle of the season. As such, they may have to choose between Sanders and Ward if both are available at No. 3. This never-ending debate continued at the East-West Shrine Bowl in Arlington when the duo had a fun sideline movement with a Giants fan.

NFL Fans Loved Watching Shedeur Sanders & Cam Ward Confuse Giants Fan

New York currently holds the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Giants are in dire need of a QB to bring a rebuilding roster back to relevance, and they hope to have more success than they did with Jones, who struggled outside of a single playoff appearance.

Deion Sanders’ son, Shedeur, has been on a collision course with New York since his Jackson State days, taking the skills to Colorado and transforming the program into a new P4 destination. Ward has also made a strong argument with his elite tools and incredible production.

On Thursday, the duo had a hilarious interaction with a Giants fan. They asked him to choose between the two of them as New York’s next franchise quarterback. He was immediately dumbfounded and unable to pick between the potential stars under center.

That hesitancy isn’t much of a surprise. The two have jostled for QB1 positioning all season long, with their contrasting playstyles acting as a Rorschach test for fans and analysts alike.

As soon as the clip went viral, fans were quick to jump in with their reactions.

Giants head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen could find themselves in a similar spot. While their frequent visits to Colorado and public speculation have many believing Sanders is destined for the bright lights of the Big Apple, there is still plenty of work to be done — and plenty of time for Ward to jump Sanders.

The Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns could play into this decision, too. Both need quarterbacks and are on the clock before New York. It remains possible that one, if not both, passers are off the board by the time the Giants pick.

New York’s need under center, though, is paramount. Jones was the 32nd-ranked passer by PFN’s QB+ metric and was cut in November. If nothing else, a quarterback selection would help inject some hope back into MetLife Stadium.

Shedeur Sanders Refused To Disclose the Details of His Meetings

Sanders had back-to-back interactions with a couple of teams during the all-star event. He reportedly spoke with the Titans, the Browns, the Giants, and a couple of other teams interested in his talent. When reporters asked about the details, he ignored the question with a diplomatic response.

“It’s not what I think, it’s what I know I can bring,” Sanders said when asked about his landing spot per Sports Illustrated. “Just them understanding my personality, being able to see it. They see media, they see cameras. They see everything, and not everybody has the best and greatest intentions to represent me well. So I just came here to represent the game and bring attention to the game and to meet people so they can understand.”

New York may be considered the favorite for Sanders, but fans won’t feel comfortable until  Tennessee and Cleveland opt for other prospects.
