    • Jaguars safety Andrew Wingard will miss “significant” time after suffering a knee injury during the first week of training camp, reports Mia O’Brien of 1010XL. Head coach Doug Pederson was unsure if Wingard would be ready for Week 1. Andre Cisco and Antonio Johnson will be Jacksonville’s starting safeties.

    Kansas City Chiefs

    • Offensive tackle Wanya Morris left today’s practice with a shoulder injury, which will be examined, reports Charles Goldman of A to Z Sports. With second-round rookie Kingsley Suamataia trending toward winning the Chiefs’ left tackle job, Morris had been working at left guard before going down.

    Miami Dolphins

    Minnesota Vikings

    • While Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell didn’t want to discuss a specific timeline, he suggested TE T.J. Hockenson is ahead of schedule as he recovers from tearing his ACL and MCL in December, per ESPN’s Kevin Seifert.
    • Still, O’Connell said it’s too early to determine Hockenson’s Week 1 availability.

    • According to ESPN’s Nick Wagoner, WR Jauan Jennings (ankle) and G Aaron Banks (back spasms) are expected to return to practice soon.
    • TE Logan Thomas has missed two practices with a hamstring injury, while offensive lineman Pat Elflein was injured Friday during his first practice with San Francisco.

    Seattle Seahawks

    • Seahawks fans can breathe. Testing on QB Geno Smith’s knee and hip injuries revealed no significant problems, a source tells Adam Schefter of ESPN. Smith isn’t expected to miss any practice time.
