The 2024 NFL Draft is just days away, and the rumor mill is flowing.
One of the most prominent string of rumors floating around concerns where all of the quarterbacks could land, including Oregon’s Bo Nix.
What’s the latest word on where he could land?
Rams Reportedly Targeting Bo Nix in 1st Round
A lot of focus in recent weeks has been with the quarterbacks potentially going inside the top-five picks. However, where Nix lands later in the NFL Draft could be just as interesting, if not more.
According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the Los Angeles Rams could be targeting Nix as their quarterback of the future.
“If there are two curveball quarterback teams, they might be the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Rams,” said Breer. “As for the Rams, I’ve actually heard them connected to Nix.”

The biggest connection between the two sides is Rams general manager, Les Snead, who is a former teammate of Nix’s father, Patrick Nix. The two still have a relationship, and it has resulted in good intel for the Rams.
“With Matthew Stafford at 36 and the Rams picking in the first round for the first time in eight years, it might make sense to put a kid in the pipeline,” said Breer.
Barring a trade, the Rams hold the 19th overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Nix as a Prospect
According to Pro Football Network Draft Analyst Ian Cummings, Nix grades out as a late-first-round prospect, fielding mid-first-round consideration with ideal schematic fits.
“Earlier in his career, Nix was a volatile but talented passer whose flaws were placed under the microscope at Auburn,” said Cummings. “But at Oregon, Nix was able to find stability and proper support and build upon his foundation as an elite creator and passing talent.”
“Nix reached his peak form in 2023, showing off his skills as an absurdly efficient distributor and game manager, with the athleticism to create, the arm talent to keep the offense on schedule, and the accuracy to help WRs make the most of their opportunities,” said Cummings.

Some of Nix’s best attributes include his high-energy athleticism, scramble ability, elite arm-elasticity, ball handling and distributing, and anticipation. His weaknesses include his non-elite arm strength, overreliance on creation capacity, and hesitation.
