    2022 NFL Thanksgiving Day Schedule

    Buffalo Bills vs. Detroit Lions

    • Where: Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan
    • When: Thursday, Nov. 24
    • Start Time: 12:30 p.m.
    • TV Channel: CBS
    • Live Stream: fuboTV

The first Thanksgiving day game is interesting, to say the least. We have a Super Bowl favorite in the Buffalo Bills, who are taking on the Detroit Lions, a team potentially competing for the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Will this one be competitive? Doubtful. The opening betting line has this one already at double digits, with the Bills laying 10 points.

MORE: Why do the Lions play on Thanksgiving?

The Lions have one of the worst defenses in the league, and they will have their hands full with Josh Allen and his plethora of weapons. Stefon Diggs is putting together another excellent season, and Gabriel Davis has cemented himself as a legit WR2. Even though the run game continues to struggle, the Bills won’t need to run as long as Allen is healthy and throws the ball the way he has all season.

New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys

    • Where: AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas
    • When: Thursday, Nov. 24
    • Start Time: 4:30 p.m.
    • TV Channel: FOX
    • Live Stream: fuboTV

The highlight of this NFL Thanksgiving Day slate is this NFC East showdown between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants. Another year means another Cowboys Thanksgiving matchup, but this might be the most important one in recent memory. The division has rarely been this close, with all four teams still in a position to either win it or at least make the playoffs.

The Cowboys’ defense has been elite this season, but it has started to show cracks these past few weeks. Will their recent struggles translate into success for the Giants and Daniel Jones? Sportsbooks do not seem to think so, with the Cowboys currently laying a touchdown at home on the opening betting lines.

New England Patriots vs. Minnesota Vikings

    • Where: U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota
    • When: Thursday, Nov. 24
    • Start Time: 8:20 p.m.
    • TV Channel: NBC
    • Live Stream: fuboTV, NBC Sports App

In a shocking turn of events, the Minnesota Vikings are running away with the NFC North title this year. However, even though they have some impressive wins under their belt, sportsbooks do not trust Kirk Cousins just yet. At home, they are only laying 3.5 against the New England Patriots.

Mac Jones has not been very good this year, but the Patriots have remained relevant thanks to a great defense and rushing attack. However, Justin Jefferson is simply on another level this year and will give this New England defense all that it can handle.
