As we enter Week 4 of NFL survivor pools, making correct picks is getting harder as the options thin down. As your choices narrow, your number of remaining opponents is hopefully also reduced. Let’s take a look at which teams you should consider for your NFL survivor pool picks in Week 4 and who presents a potential trap game.
NFL Survivor Pool Week 4
Which games are potential survivor pool selections for Week 4?
Buffalo Bills (vs. Houston Texans)
The Bills are favorites in this game by 16 or 17 points. Honestly, there is probably little else you need to know. The Bills just decimated the Washington Football Team, while Houston looked horrendous against the Panthers.
Buffalo is a great team to have up your sleeve later in the season. But this is one of those “do not be too cute” moments in sports betting. Buffalo should be a popular NFL survivor pool pick in Week 4.
Kansas City Chiefs (@ Philadelphia Eagles)
Things have not gone particularly well for the Chiefs so far this season. The defending AFC Champions are 1-2 to start the year and have lost to two of their main rivals in the Ravens and Chargers. However, they have been close in both of those games and could easily be 3-0.
It is hard to imagine the Chiefs losing three straight games with Patrick Mahomes under center — especially when a loss could leave them three games out of first place in the AFC West. This matchup with the offensively troubled Eagles should be a good chance for Kansas City’s leaky defense to get right.
Other NFL survivor pool picks to consider in Week 4
A previous version of this article also had the Bengals over the Jaguars as a survivor pool selection.
Week 4 NFL survivor pool potential trap games
Which games are tempting to select for your survivor pool in Week 4 but could end up as traps?
Cleveland Browns (@ Minnesota Vikings)
The Vikings have been a wild team over the first three weeks. In Week 1, they had a roaring comeback against the Bengals that fell short in overtime. Then they pushed the Cardinals to the brink and should have won on a late field goal. Finally, they came back from 17-7 to defeat the Seahawks 30-17 in Week 3.
In contrast, the Browns have had it easy the last two weeks. Neither the Texans nor Bears really threatened them, and they have been on cruise control. Yet, we saw Cleveland’s defense can be vulnerable against a good offense in Week 1 against the Chiefs.
Washington Football Team (@ Atlanta Falcons)
If you have been watching the Falcons, you know they have not been good this year. Then again, Washington has also been less than convincing in 2021. A road team favorite can make for an interesting pick, especially against one of the worst teams in the NFC. However, this matchup has potential shootout vibes, and Atlanta could play well at home.
