Here is everything you need to know about NFL Sunday Ticket and how to purchase it with the NFL season right around the corner.

The NFL Sunday Ticket landscape has evolved since YouTube TV took over the football package from DirecTV in 2022. Surprisingly, YouTube TV won the bidding war for the exclusive rights to NFL Sunday Ticket, beating out ESPN and Amazon.

Here is everything you need to know about NFL Sunday Ticket and how to purchase it.

    What Is NFL Sunday Ticket?

NFL Sunday Ticket is a subscription service offered by YouTube TV, which is owned by Google. The service allows fans to watch every out-of-market NFL game on Sundays (excluding international games and digital-only contests).

If you don’t already have YouTube TV, you can still get access to NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube TV by paying a higher price.

You can stream NFL Sunday Ticket on TVs, laptops, tablets, phones, game consoles, and even devices such as Roku and Google Chromecast using the YouTube TV app.

How Much Does NFL Sunday Ticket Cost?

YouTube has two options to purchase NFL Sunday Ticket: one for existing YouTube TV subscribers and another for those who do not currently subscribe to YouTube TV.

When bundled with YouTube TV, the current price of NFL Sunday Ticket is $349 (or four payments of $87.25).

If you don’t have YouTube TV, it’s a bit more expensive: $449 (or four payments of $112.25).

As of now, there’s no way to purchase out-of-market games for one team. This is a popular request, and it’s possible this feature will be added at some point in the future.

How Much Does the Service Cost for Students?

YouTube TV offers a student discount on NFL Sunday Ticket as well as a bundle package with NFL Red Zone.

Eligible students can purchase NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube Primetime Channels for $109. This student plan can only be purchased as a YouTube Primetime Channel, but once purchased, you can watch games on either YouTube or YouTube TV.

To sign up, you must be 18+ years of age, enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university, and verify that you’re a student using SheerID.

Is NFL RedZone Available Without NFL Sunday Ticket?

Yes, you can watch NFL RedZone without tethering yourself to a cable contract.

You purchase a subscription to NFL RedZone on NFL+. It is also available on Sling TV, fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV.

If you already use YouTube TV, NFL RedZone is available as part of the Sports Plus add-on, which is $10.99 per month.
