What Did Jameis Winston Say About Shedeur Sanders to Rich Eisen?

Winston detailed how, in his opinion, Sanders “has changed the whole culture” of the Buffaloes program.

In addition, he details how consistency has been key in his individual success, as well as the Buffaloes team’s achievements, too.

“Shedeur Sanders is playing some of the most elite football that I’ve seen from a college perspective,” he added.

Winston concluded answering the question by explaining how both Deion and Shedeur Sanders have taken care of their business in the proper manner.

Citing their insistence on “leading for the Kingdom,” the Browns QB outlined his excitement about the future of both Coach Prime and Shedeur.

Shedeur Sanders’ 2024 Season and Future Outlook

This season, Sanders is enjoying a noteworthy and standout year as the starting quarterback of the Buffaloes. He has been an instrumental force behind the Buffaloes’ fourth-place position in the Big 12 conference, with an 8-3 record overall (6-2 against conference opponents).

On a personal level, Sanders’ quality attributes and statistics have elevated his draft stock and made him one of the most intriguing prospects in this year’s NFL Draft. The son of Coach Prime has consistently looked comfortable in the pocket this campaign, been able to easily read opposing defensive schemes and formations, and been an extremely accurate passer of the football.

On the season, he has thrown for 3,488 yards, 30 touchdowns, and only seven interceptions. He has also added four rushing scores on the ground.

While it remains to be seen what team drafts Sanders, Winston believes Sanders has revolutionized the Buffaloes’ program and been one of the best quarterbacks at the college level this season.
