NFL Prop Bets Week 10: Top bets and futures to target this week

With just eight weeks left in the NFL season, we now have a pretty good idea of what most teams are bringing to the table in Week 10, allowing us to give real consideration to both prop bets this week as well as casting an eye to some more futures bets. Each week, our NFL betting team will be providing you with our favorite prop bets to help win you some cash. This article will break down various angles through all of Sunday and Monday’s games, as we continuously update our selections as more lines become available. We will also kick off the article with some potential NFL futures bets that may offer value right now.

Week 10 begins on Thursday Night Football, as the Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts clash in a battle that will give us a good indication of who could be the AFC South representative in the playoffs this season. The end of the week sees a battle of two teams trending in different directions in the NFC North, as the Minnesota Vikings head to Chicago to take on the Bears. Let’s dive into some of our favorite NFL prop bets for Week 10 of the season, but first, let’s look at the futures bets which stand out as we enter the second half of the season.

    NFL Futures Bets

Can the Pittsburgh Steelers roll to 16-0?

The Steelers nearly ruined this fun NFL futures bet by dropping what was widely seen as an easy game in Dallas last week. Now sitting at 8-0, their odds of around +1000 feel like they are on the generous side given the rest of their schedule. Sure there are challenging games against the Ravens and Bills, and it feels a long time already since that Week 4 bye, but the Steelers have a great chance of emulating the feat of the 2007 New England Patriots.

The Steelers should be favorites in the majority of their games as we advance, making these odds seem too high. There is always a mental factor about trying to go 16-0 and the motivation it gives teams facing you. Additionally, the Steelers will face four teams in their last six who are actively going to be competing for playoff spots and seedings (five if you count Washington and the dreadful NFC East). All of that would suggest putting money against the Steelers completing this feat, but those odds are only going down from here. If you want in on this particular NFL futures prop bet, now is the time to jump.

Will the Indianapolis Colts put themselves in the lead of the AFC South race?

Last week my NFL futures division recommendation was on the Saints, and that looks much nicer now as they have moved from +100 to -250 after their Week 9 win. This week that focus switches to our Thursday Night Football game. Neither the Titans nor Colts have looked convincing this season. The Colts have a tough run down the stretch, but they face the Titans twice in the next three. If they win both of those, they will be in a great position to take this division, and +160 just feels a touch too high right now.

    Week 10 Sunday Prop Bets

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers | Sunday, November 15th, 1:00 PM

Can Curtis Samuel keep his touchdown streak rolling?

Samuel is in a perfect position this week to continue his hot streak. The thought was that as Christian McCaffrey settled into the offense more, Samuel would see a reduction in opportunities. However, with McCaffrey missing Week 10, Samuel should be a big part of this offense again this week.

Samuel has scored touchdowns in each of the last three games, and this week offers that opportunity again. The Buccaneers’ top two corners will likely focus on Robby Anderson and DJ Moore, while the run game defense will be predicated on stopping Mike Davis. Samuel will see some deep shots and could see a carry or two down in the red zone. His anytime touchdown odds are high enough at +350 to make this an interesting play as part of a mid-range parlay or a single play.

Mike Davis is set to struggle on the ground this week

Davis could have a big impact on this game in a similar way to how he did in Week 2, with most of his yardage coming through the air. The Buccaneers lead the NFL, allowing just 3.3 yards per attempt to opposing backs, meaning Davis under 51.5 rushing yards is getting serious consideration as one of my NFL Week 10 prop bets.

Washington Football Team at Detroit Lions | Sunday, November 15th, 1:00 PM

J.D. McKissic to continue contributing in the passing game

McKissic appears to have established himself as the lead receiving back for the Washington Football Team. 14 targets last week, make it 42 targets in the last six games. His receiving line sits at 33.5 yards, a total he has topped in five of the last six weeks. Alex Smith appeared to favor McKissic last week, making him an intriguing option as a potential play as one of your Week 10 prop bets.

Los Angeles Chargers at Miami Dolphins | Sunday, November 15th, 4:05 PM

Donald Parham is a red-zone weapon for LA

Parham has two career NFL receptions and both have been touchdowns. He very nearly added a third this week. His main usage for the team has been in the red zone, and at +650 he makes an interesting long shot anytime touchdown play as one of your prop bets for Week 10 of the NFL season.

Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams | Sunday, November 15th, 4:25 PM

All eyes on Russell Wilson once again

While the Seahawks were hopeful of getting Chris Carson back this week, the news that he will be out again leaves the responsibility for winning this game on the shoulders of Wilson. Wilson’s line of 295.5 passing yards is something he has topped in five of his eight outings this season. Look for him to do it again in what should be a back and forth game with the Rams.

    Week 10 Sunday Night Football

Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots | Sunday, November 15th, 8:20 PM

Jakobi Meyers has established himself as one of Cam Newton’s favorite weapons

The last three weeks have been impressive for Jakobi Meyers, with 30 targets, 22 receptions, and 287 receiving yards. In each of those three weeks, he has topped his current line of 49.5 receiving yards. With the Patriots lacking weapons, expect to see Newton forcing the ball to Meyers once again this week.

    Early Week 10 Teaser

There really should not be any reason to get fancy with your teasers this week. Two games jump out immediately, and there are even more tempting options. Taking the Baltimore Ravens down to -1 against the Patriots feels like an easy first leg of this teaser. The Ravens beat up on mediocre teams, and the Patriots just made the Jets offense look efficient.

The second leg of the teaser presents options. Given the performances of Joe Burrow this season, taking the Bengals up to +13 with the Steelers concerns this week is an option. Taking the Bills up to +8.5 is undoubtedly an option and taking the Denver Broncos up to +11 against a team in the Raiders who just want to give points to opposing teams all feel like easy second legs.

If 10-point teasers are more your thing, another option would be, take the Broncos to +15, the Bills to +12.5, and the Seahawks to +11.5. All three of those teams should be able to stay within 10 points this week.

    Week 10 Thursday Night Football

Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans | Thursday, November 12th, 8:20 PM

This week, I am looking for Corey Davis to get back on the horse after his struggles in Week 9. Since returning in Week 7, Davis’ stat line made good reading, with 20 targets with 14 receptions through his two games. Week 9 was a complete disaster with just three targets and not a single catch, but it was a tough matchup against a good defense.

The Colts’ defense is also good, but they do not have the same caliber of cover corners as the Bears. Look for Davis to get back among the targets in Week 10, with a line of +133 at over 4.5 looking very soft as a Week 10 NFL prop bet play, given he has topped that line in two of his last three games.
