2025 Pro Bowl Games Skills Showdown Challenges

A host of the league’s very best players will perform in one way or another. Coaching the two teams will be Peyton and Eli Manning, with the latter looking for a repeat of the 64-59 victory for the NFC in 2024.

The 2025 Skills Showdown challenges and their participants are as follows:

    Passing the Test

    The classic quarterback challenge.

Three quarterbacks from both conferences will take turns trying to score as many points as possible by hitting various targets. Different targets will score different amounts of points, while their teammate can earn them extra time by correctly answering questions about their fellow Pro Bowl athletes.

    Satisfying Catches

One wide receiver, one tight end, and one defensive back from each conference will complete an obstacle course as quickly as possible while attempting to catch passes fired at them from a JUGS machine. The lowest combined time wins.

    The Big Spike

Six NFL linemen (three from each conference) will take turns spiking a football as hard as they can. The power and impact of each spike will be measured on the “Spike-o-Meter.” There are no cumulative scores as the biggest individual spike wins the contest.

    Relay Race

There will be a flat-out speed race with three teams of four competing for each conference. Each player will run a 40-yard dash, with a football taking the place of a traditional baton. After all three rounds are complete, the fastest team of four wins.

    Helmet Harmony

A break from the physical competitions, “Helmet Harmony” is a trivia contest in which players answer questions about their teammates. At the end of the game, the team with the most points wins.

    Dodgeball

Each conference will be represented by two teams consisting of seven players each. Each team will play two rounds of dodgeball, with one team taking the win.

    Punt Perfect

One punter from each conference will set up at the 35-yard line with a conference teammate in the end zone. Between them, they will attempt to land punts into different buckets in the end zone. The team with the most points at the end of the drill is the winner.

    • P Logan Cooke, CB Marlon Humphrey (AFC)
    • P Jack Fox, FB Kyle Juszczyk (NFC)

    ‘Madden NFL 25’

Two players from each conference will compete in a “Madden NFL 25” showdown.

    • S Derwin James Jr. (AFC)
    • WR Brian Thomas Jr. (AFC)
    • WR Justin Jefferson (NFC)
    • DE Micah Parsons (NFC)

    The Great Football Race

Six players from each conference will team up in a five-phase relay race. As with standard races, the team crossing the line first will take the win.

    • DE Myles Garrett, OL Tyler Linderbaum, OL Rashawn Slater, K Chris Boswell, LS Ross Matiscik, OL Connor McGovern (AFC)
    • DE Micah Parsons, OL Frank Ragnow, OL Tristan Wirfs, K Brandon Aubrey, LS Andrew DePaola, OL Erik McCoy (NFC)

    Tug of War

A classic tug of war with an added foam pit, each conference will put forward two teams of five players who will compete in a best-of-three series to find a winner.

    • OL Quenton Nelson, OL Isaac Seumalo, OL Joel Bitonio, OL Ronnie Stanley, OL Dion Dawkins (AFC)
    • DE Trey Hendrickson, DE Danielle Hunter, DT Jeffery Simmons, DT Cameron Heyward, DT Quinnen Williams (AFC)
    • OL Chris Lindstrom, OL Tyler Smith, OL Robert Hunt, OL Brian O’Neill, OL Taylor Decker (NFC)
    • DE Rashan Gary, DE Nick Bosa, DT Dexter Lawrence II, Dt Vita Vea, DT Leonard Williams (NFC)

The Pro Bowl Games serve as a fun wind-down from the seriousness and physical punishment of the NFL season. All of the players, though, will be looking to give their conference a leg up heading into the weekend’s flag football finale.
