With Week 16 of the 2024 NFL season in the books, the race for the playoffs is heating up. With so many teams either clinching postseason spots or fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive, let’s see where all 32 teams stand in our latest NFL Power Rankings.
To limit subjectivity from our power rankings, we have devised our PR+ metric, which combines our internal Offense+ and Defense+ metrics, our special teams ranking, and a level of correction for the teams’ strength of schedule and win-loss record (among other things). We also take injuries and other factors surrounding teams into account.
With the help of PFN’s Playoff Predictor, let’s examine where each team ranks entering Week 17 of the season.
1) Detroit Lions
Record: 13-2
- Offense+ Rank: 1
- Defense+ Rank: 4
- Special Teams+ Rank: 12
- SOS Rank: 13
The Lions have lost a ton of key players to injuries as of late, but it didn’t matter in Week 16, as they dominated the Bears 34-17. Ben Johnson and the Lions called perhaps the best trick play in recent memory, as Jared Goff and Jahmyr Gibbs executed a fake stumble that resulted in a touchdown pass to Sam LaPorta. Johnson is one of the most creative play-callers in the NFL, and it’s no surprise that he is getting head-coaching buzz.
This was planned.
Ben Johnson is intentional. pic.twitter.com/OBGo0pRA5q— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) December 22, 2024
The Lions also got some great news about injured running back David Montgomery. While it initially seemed that Detroit’s star running back would be out for the remainder of the season, he sought a third opinion and opted to rehab his MCL rather than undergo surgery. Now, he’s targeting a return in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
PFN’s Playoff Predictor is a big fan of the Lions, as they have a 21.8% chance to win the Super Bowl — double the odds of the next-highest team.
2) Baltimore Ravens
Record: 10-5
- Offense+ Rank: 2
- Defense+ Rank: 13
- Special Teams+ Rank: 31
- SOS Rank: 11
The Ravens are a very talented team, and nobody will want to face this squad in the postseason. When they are playing to their full potential, they can compete with any team in the league. This was on display in Week 16 when they took down the Steelers.
This was a huge win for Baltimore, as the Ravens now have a chance to win the AFC North over the Steelers. PFN’s model gives Baltimore a slight edge over Pittsburgh to capture the division crown.
The one-two punch of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry is going to be terrifying in the postseason.
3) Philadephia Eagles
Record: 12-3
- Offense+ Rank: 15
- Defense+ Rank: 2
- Special Teams+ Rank: 27
- SOS Rank: 28
The Eagles’ 10-game winning streak came to an end in Week 16, with a loss to their division-rival Commanders. However, it’s hard to fault Philadelphia for this loss, as Jalen Hurts exited this game in the first quarter due to a concussion.
Saquon Barkley delivered another incredible performance (150 rushing yards and two touchdowns) to keep his goal of breaking the NFL’s single-season rushing record alive, but it wasn’t enough to defeat Jayden Daniels and the Commanders.
Still, despite the Week 16 loss, Philadelphia is still in the driver’s seat in the NFC East, and no team wants to run into a healthy Eagles team in the postseason.
4) Buffalo Bills
Record: 12-3
- Offense+ Rank: 3
- Defense+ Rank: 21
- Special Teams+ Rank: 21
- SOS Rank: 17
The Bills have now won nine of 10 games, but their 24-21 victory against the Patriots in Week 16 was too close for comfort.
New England’s defense has been terrible for much of the season, yet they held Josh Allen to 154 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception (plus just 30 rushing yards and no scores on the ground).
Buffalo has the third-best offense in PFN’s Offense+ metric, so it was shocking to see them struggle against the Patriots. Even though it was ugly, Buffalo overcame a 14-0 deficit to beat the Patriots and keep their slim hopes of winning the AFC’s No. 1 seed alive.
5) Minnesota Vikings
Record: 13-2
- Offense+ Rank: 10
- Defense+ Rank: 3
- Special Teams+ Rank: 14
- SOS Rank: 24
Entering the season, sportsbooks had the Vikings’ over/under set at 6.5 wins — they doubled that projection with their win over the Seahawks on Sunday.
The Vikings are the biggest surprise of the 2024 season, and Sam Darnold just became the third quarterback in the last 55 years to win 13 games in his first season with a new team, joining Peyton Manning (Broncos) and Steve McNair (Ravens).
Minnesota sealed this victory by picking off Geno Smith, which was Minnesota’s 30th takeaway of the season — the second-most in the NFL.
6) Green Bay Packers
Record: 11-4
- Offense+ Rank: 7
- Defense+ Rank: 11
- Special Teams+ Rank: 26
- SOS Rank: 1
With their 34-0 blowout win over the Saints on Monday Night Football, Green Bay officially clinched an NFC Wild Card spot. This marked the first shutout of the 2024 NFL season.
The Packers have had the NFL’s hardest schedule to this point, yet they are still 11-4. It’s worth noting that Green Bay’s only losses have come against other teams ranked inside the top five: against the Eagles in Week 1, the Vikings in Week 4, and the Lions in Weeks 9 and 14. Also, two of those losses came with Jordan Love hobbled by injuries.
That’s the downside of playing in the NFL’s toughest division. While they are in third place in the NFC North, the Packers are a legitimate contender.
7) Kansas City Chiefs
Record: 14-1
- Offense+ Rank: 11
- Defense+ Rank: 10
- Special Teams+ Rank: 19
- SOS Rank: 30
Another week, another one-possession win for the Chiefs. Kansas City has now won 16 straight one-score games. For reference, the Jaguars have 16 one-score wins since Mahomes debuted in 2017, and there are five teams that don’t even have 16 one-score wins this decade.
While much of the talk over the last week was about Patrick Mahomes’ injured ankle, he looked fine in Kansas City’s Week 16 win over the Texans. In fact, he even recorded his longest rushing touchdown of the season — a 15-yard scamper in the first quarter.
So, why are the 14-1 back-to-back defending champions sitting at No. 7 in these rankings? Well, despite having the NFL’s best record, PFN’s model isn’t particularly high on the Chiefs due to their weak schedule to this point and mediocre Offense+, Defense+, and Special Teams+ rankings.
8) Los Angeles Rams
Record: 9-6
- Offense+ Rank: 9
- Defense+ Rank: 23
- Special Teams+ Rank: 28
- SOS Rank: 3
The Rams have come a long way since dropping four of their first five games. With their Week 16 victory over the Jets, Los Angeles has now won eight of their last 10 contests.
The Rams have played the fourth-hardest schedule in the NFL to this point, and they have wins over the Bills, Vikings, Seahawks, and 49ers (two).
Los Angeles currently sits atop the NFC West, and the Week 18 matchup between Los Angeles and Seattle could determine the division title. The Rams dealt with a ton of injuries in the first half of the season, so they are better than their record indicates.
9) Washington Commanders
Record: 10-5
- Offense+ Rank: 5
- Defense+ Rank: 18
- Special Teams+ Rank: 8
- SOS Rank: 32
Entering Week 16, the Commanders had zero wins against teams with a winning record, as they were 0-4 when facing teams who are .500 or better this season. However, in Week 16, the Commanders delivered their most impressive win of the campaign, defeating the Eagles 36-33. Yes, Jalen Hurts left in the first quarter with a concussion, but still, Washington deserves credit for this victory.
Also, let’s give some props to Jayden Daniels, who became the third quarterback in NFL history to record five passing touchdowns and 80 rushing yards in a single game, joining Lamar Jackson and Cam Newton. Daniels is the first rookie to post this stat line.
JAYDEN DANIELS. COMMANDERS TAKE THE LEAD WITH 6 SECONDS.#PHIvsWAS pic.twitter.com/BcKGpEBIsl
— NFL (@NFL) December 22, 2024
Also, there have been two go-ahead touchdown passes in the final 10 seconds of regulation this season: Daniels in Weeks 8 vs. the Bears and Daniels in Week 16 vs. the Eagles. He’s the first player since at least 2000 with multiple go-ahead passing TDs in the final 10 seconds of regulation in a single season.
10) Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Record: 8-7
- Offense+ Rank: 4
- Defense+ Rank: 20
- Special Teams+ Rank: 5
- SOS Rank: 7
Entering Week 16, the Buccaneers controlled their own destiny: win out and the NFC South title belonged to them for a fourth straight year. However, Tampa Bay shockingly lost to the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football 26-24.
This season, Tampa Bay has had impressive wins over the Lions, Eagles, Chargers, and Commanders, plus they nearly defeated the Chiefs in overtime. However, they have also lost to the Falcons (twice) and Cowboys. The Bucs have one of the NFL’s easiest remaining schedules, with games against the Panthers and Saints.
Now, Tampa Bay needs Atlanta to drop one of their final games in order to win the division. Next week’s battle between the Falcons and Commanders is huge for the Bucs and the NFC South race.
11) Denver Broncos
Record: 9-6
- Offense+ Rank: 18
- Defense+ Rank: 1
- Special Teams+ Rank: 8
- SOS Rank: 26
The Broncos lost to the Chargers, 37-34, in Week 16, but PFN’s model still gives Denver an 86.6% chance of making the playoffs.
Bo Nix, the No. 12 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, continues to impress — throwing for 263 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions while also rushing for 25 yards against the Chargers’ tough defense. He has exceeded all expectations, and the Broncos have to feel good about having their quarterback of the future.
However, it’s Denver’s defense that makes this team so scary. They are currently the No. 1-ranked defense in PFN’s Defense+ metric.
12) Pittsburgh Steelers
Record: 10-5
- Offense+ Rank: 23
- Defense+ Rank: 6
- Special Teams+ Rank: 1
- SOS Rank: 25
Last week, we mentioned that the Steelers’ remaining schedule is brutal and that we’d learn a lot about this squad down the stretch, with games against the Eagles, Ravens, Chiefs, and Bengals (who gave them a tough matchup in Week 13). Pittsburgh had benefitted from playing the fifth-easiest schedule in the NFL entering this week, but now they are facing multiple contenders.
Well, that tough stretch has kicked off with back-to-back losses against Philadelphia and Baltimore. The Steelers are now out of contention for the AFC’s No. 1 seed, and their grip on the AFC North is tenuous. Pittsburgh’s Week 16 loss against Baltimore could be costly in the race for the division crown. But fortunately for the Steelers, they have already clinched a playoff spot, so they’ll be in the postseason either way.
13) Los Angeles Chargers
Record: 9-6
- Offense+ Rank: 21
- Defense+ Rank: 8
- Special Teams+ Rank: 5
- SOS Rank: 19
It is hard to know what to make of this Chargers team. Los Angeles is a well-coached team with a terrific defense, but they have played one of the easiest schedules in the NFL.
Fun fact: the Chargers are just 2-4 against teams above .500 (with both wins coming against the Broncos in Weeks 6 and 16).
Fortunately for Los Angeles, their final two contests are against New England and Las Vegas, which means they are a virtual lock to make the postseason (95.9% odds in PFN’s model), and they may even finish with 11 wins.
14) Seattle Seahawks
Record: 8-7
- Offense+ Rank: 19
- Defense+ Rank: 9
- Special Teams+ Rank: 17
- SOS Rank: 4
After last week’s loss against the Packers, Seattle lost to the Vikings in another tough matchup against an NFC North contender. With this Week 16 loss, the Seahawks have been eliminated from the NFC Wild Card race.
Now, the Seahawks’ only chance of making the playoffs is winning the NFC West, and PFN’s model gives them a 33.2% chance of taking the division crown. Seattle will face the Rams in the final week of the season, which could decide the division depending on what happens next week.
15) Arizona Cardinals
Record: 7-8
- Offense+ Rank: 6
- Defense+ Rank: 28
- Special Teams+ Rank: 19
- SOS Rank: 2
With the Cardinals’ loss to the Panthers in Week 16, they have been eliminated from the playoffs. This was a forgettable season for Arizona.
However, it’s worth noting that their schedule hasn’t done them any favors this season, as they have played the second-hardest slate of any team in the NFL to this point.
This includes games against the Lions, Vikings, Packers, Bills, Commanders, and Chargers, plus their division foes (the Rams, 49ers, and Seahawks).
16) Houston Texans
Record: 9-6
- Offense+ Rank: 25
- Defense+ Rank: 5
- Special Teams+ Rank: 13
- SOS Rank: 22
Houston suffered a pair of losses on Saturday, as they dropped their Week 16 game against the Chiefs but also lost wide receiver Tank Dell for the remainder of the season due to a dislocated kneecap. It was a devasting injury and emotions were running high as Dell was carted off the field with a serious injury for the second season in a row.
Fortunately for the Texans, they have already clinched the AFC South, so they don’t have to worry about missing the playoffs. Still, this team was already looking shaky entering the playoffs, as their record feels like a product of a fairly easy schedule to this point. Now, with Dell sidelined (in addition to Stefon Diggs), the Texans are significantly less scary in the postseason.
17) San Francisco 49ers
Record: 6-9
- Offense+ Rank: 12
- Defense+ Rank: 17
- Special Teams+ Rank: 32
- SOS Rank: 6
After last year’s trip to the Super Bowl, the 49ers have lost numerous key players to injuries throughout this season. From Christian McCaffrey to Brandon Aiyuk to Jordan Mason to Javon Hargrave to Nick Bosa to Trent Williams, the 49ers’ have had star-studded injury reports for much of the year.
With their 29-17 loss to the Dolphins in Week 16, the 49ers have been eliminated from the playoffs. Now, San Francisco will have a big decision to make this offseason, as Brock Purdy will be seeking a massive payday that makes him one of the NFL’s highest-paid quarterbacks.
18) Atlanta Falcons
Record: 8-7
- Offense+ Rank: 14
- Defense+ Rank: 27
- Special Teams+ Rank: 30
- SOS Rank: 15
All eyes were on the Falcons in Week 16 after benching veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins for No. 8 overall pick Michael Penix Jr. The rookie single-caller had a quiet day statistically, completing 18 of 27 passes for 202 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception (which was entirely Kyle Pitts’ fault). However, he protected the ball better than Cousins had in recent weeks, and Atlanta got a blowout 34-7 win over the Giants.
"My heart is beating out of my chest right now…I worked all my life to get to this point."

— NFL on FOX Podcast (@NFLonFOXPod) December 22, 2024
Atlanta was once in the driver’s seat in the NFC South, but now they are trailing the Buccaneers and have a very slim margin of error over the final few weeks of the season. PFN’s metrics have been low on the Falcons for much of the season, predicting that the Bucs would ultimately come from behind to win the division thanks to their dominant offense and easy schedule down the stretch.
If Tampa Bay wins out against the Cowboys, Panthers, and Saints, the division title belongs to them. With that said, even if the Falcons cannot win the division, they are in the mix for an NFC Wild Card spot.
19) Cincinnati Bengals
Record: 7-8
- Offense+ Rank: 8
- Defense+ Rank: 29
- Special Teams+ Rank: 22
- SOS Rank: 29
Joe Burrow continued his terrific 2024 season in the Bengals’ Week 16 win over the Browns, completing 23 of 30 passes for 252 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Ja’Marr Chase caught six passes for 97 yards and a touchdown, Tee Higgins added eight catches for 58 yards and a score, and Andrei Iosivas finished with three catches for 53 yards and a TD.
At this point, PFN’s Playoff Predictor gives the Bengals just a 5.3% chance of making the postseason. The path to the playoffs is pretty straightforward for the Bengals: They must win their remaining two games against the Broncos and Steelers. Cincinnati also needs the Broncos to lose to the Chiefs in Week 18. Additionally, the Bengals also need the Colts and Dolphins to lose one more game each.
20) Miami Dolphins
Record: 7-8
- Offense+ Rank: 13
- Defense+ Rank: 12
- Special Teams+ Rank: 29
- SOS Rank: 31
With their Week 16 win over the 49ers, the Dolphins have now won five of their last seven games, but it may be too little, too late. Miami has just a 3.8% chance of making the playoffs, as they need a ton of help from other teams to sneak in.
Had Tua Tagovailoa stayed healthy all season, who knows what the Dolphins could have achieved this season? But injuries are obviously part of the game, and now it’s looking very likely that Miami will miss the postseason.
21) Indianapolis Colts
Record: 7-8
- Offense+ Rank: 24
- Defense+ Rank: 26
- Special Teams+ Rank: 18
- SOS Rank: 8
Anthony Richardson attempted just 11 passes in Sunday’s win over the Titans, yet the Colts scored 38 points on offense. It’s only the third time since 2000 that an offense had fewer than 15 pass attempts and still scored 38 or more points. The other two were Minnesota’s Tavaris Jackson in 2007 vs. the Giants and Jacksonville’s David Garrard vs. the Colts in 2006.
PFN’s model hasn’t been high on Indianapolis this season, as the metrics don’t support the Colts making the playoffs. However, Indy’s postseason hopes are still alive and the Colts have the NFL’s easiest remaining schedule, with games against the Giants and Jaguars in the final two weeks. PFN’s Playoff Predictor gives the Colts an 8.6% chance of making the playoffs as a Wild Card team.
22) Chicago Bears
Record: 4-11
- Offense+ Rank: 24
- Defense+ Rank: 14
- Special Teams+ Rank: 16
- SOS Rank: 5
In Week 6, the Bears blew out the Jaguars in London and were entering their bye week with a 4-2 record. They had just won back-to-back games, and they were feeling good.
Unfortunately, Chicago hasn’t won a game since, and it cost head coach Matt Eberflus and offensive coordinator Shane Waldron their jobs. With their 34-17 loss to the Lions in Week 16, the Bears have now lost nine consecutive games. This was a very difficult stretch, as it included games against the Lions (two), Vikings (two), Packers, Commanders, 49ers, and Cardinals, but they also lost convincingly against the Patriots in Week 10.
MORE: Try PFN’s Free Mock Draft Simulator With Trades
Unfortunately for the Bears, their schedule doesn’t get any easier, as they have to face the Seahawks and Packers (away) over the final two weeks. This is the downside of playing in the NFL’s toughest division.
23) New Orleans Saints
Record: 5-10
- Offense+ Rank: 20
- Defense+ Rank: 16
- Special Teams+ Rank: 7
- SOS Rank: 27
A few weeks ago, New Orleans had lost seven straight games and fired head coach Dennis Allen. Ever since, they are 3-3, and two of those losses were hard-fought battles against the Commanders and Rams.
However, in Week 16, the Saints couldn’t do anything in their 34-0 blowout loss to the Packers. This marked the first shutout of the 2024 NFL season, and New Orleans struggled in all facets of the game.
However, it should be noted that the Saints were without QB Derek Carr, RB Alvin Kamara, WR Chris Olave, WR Rashid Shaheed, and TE Taysom Hill, so expectations weren’t exactly high entering this contest.
New Orleans has officially been eliminated from the playoffs. If the season ended today, the Saints would have the No. 10 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
24) New York Jets
Record: 4-11
- Offense+ Rank: 16
- Defense+ Rank: 15
- Special Teams+ Rank: 23
- SOS Rank: 20
From acquiring four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers, three-time All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams, and All-Pro pass rusher Haason Reddick to parting ways with head coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas midseason, the Jets have made aggressive moves in hopes of making the playoffs and turning around this franchise.
However, New York has missed the playoffs for the 14th straight season. Considering the Jets entered the campaign with Super Bowl aspirations, this year has been a huge disappointment. Remember, this was a team that won seven games last year despite starting Zach Wilson, Trevor Siemian, and Tim Boyle at quarterback.
This will be an interesting offseason for the Jets, as it seems likely that Rodgers’ and Adams’ days with the team are numbered. Woody Johnson is firing up Madden as we speak to find their replacements.
25) Carolina Panthers
Record: 4-11
- Offense+ Rank: 28
- Defense+ Rank: 32
- Special Teams+ Rank: 25
- SOS Rank: 21
The Panthers look like a completely different team in the second half of the season. In Week 16, Carolina upset the Cardinals 36-30, eliminating them from the playoffs.
Chuba Hubbard had 25 carries for 152 yards and two touchdowns, and Bryce Young completed 17 of 26 yards for 158 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions while adding 68 rushing yards and a score on the ground.

Carolina has committed to Young as their starting quarterback in the 2025 season, so these strong performances to close the season are great to see. If the season ended today, the Panthers would have the No. 7 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
26) Dallas Cowboys
Record: 7-8
- Offense+ Rank: 22
- Defense+ Rank: 19
- Special Teams+ Rank: 3
- SOS Rank: 18
Much to the chagrin of fans who wanted Dallas to tank for a higher pick, the Cowboys have played well as of late, winning four of their last five games. After winning a pair of games against NFC East opponents (the Commanders and Giants) in Weeks 12-13, Dallas dominated the Panthers 30-14 in Week 15 and upset the Buccaneers 26-24 in Week 16.
Cooper Rush is playing much better as of late. After a strong performance in Week 15, he completed 26 of 35 passes for 292 yards, a touchdown, and zero turnovers in Week 16. The Cowboys are eliminated from the playoffs, but their success down the stretch may allow head coach Mike McCarthy to keep his job. If the season ended today, Dallas would pick No. 15 in the 2025 NFL Draft.
27) Tennessee Titans
Record: 3-12
- Offense+ Rank: 29
- Defense+ Rank: 24
- Special Teams+ Rank: 24
- SOS Rank: 10
With Sunday’s loss against the Colts, the Titans have now lost four straight games (and nine of their last 11). Tennessee made a quarterback change from Will Levis to Mason Rudolph, but their struggles under center continued. Rudolph completed 23 of 34 passes for 252 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions.
If the season ended today, Tennessee would have the No. 4 selection, and the Titans still have a 7.5% chance of landing the No. 1 pick. With such a high pick, all eyes will be on Tennessee to see if they select their next quarterback of the future.
28) Las Vegas Raiders
Record: 3-12
- Offense+ Rank: 30
- Defense+ Rank: 25
- Special Teams+ Rank: 11
- SOS Rank: 9
Give the Raiders credit: Even without their top two quarterbacks (Aidan O’Connell and Gardner Minshew), their superstar defensive end (Maxx Crosby), and their starting running back (Sincere McCormick), they are still fighting and got a Week 16 win over the Jaguars.
MORE: Current NFL Draft Order and Everything To Know About 2025 NFL Draft
The only issue is that this win significantly hurts Las Vegas’ 2025 NFL Draft pick. Entering Week 16, the Raiders had the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. Now, after this win, they hold the No. 6 pick.
Las Vegas still has a 9.2% chance of landing the top overall pick in the draft, but many Raiders fans are understandably frustrated with this too-little, too-late victory.
29) Cleveland Browns
Record: 3-12
- Offense+ Rank: 32
- Defense+ Rank: 7
- Special Teams+ Rank: 10
- SOS Rank: 16
After Jameis Winston had a trio of three-interception games (and 12 picks total), the Browns decided to bench him for Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
Unfortunately for Cleveland, the quarterback change didn’t do much, as Thompson-Robinson completed just 20 of 34 passes for 157 yards, zero touchdowns, and two interceptions while also adding 49 rushing yards and a fumble (which Cleveland recovered).
With this 24-6 loss to the Bengals, the Browns currently pick No. 5 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft and have a 9.4% chance of securing the No. 1 selection.
30) Jacksonville Jaguars
Record: 3-12
- Offense+ Rank: 17
- Defense+ Rank: 31
- Special Teams+ Rank: 4
- SOS Rank: 12
In Week 16, the Jaguars lost to the Raiders, but that’s the best-case scenario for Jacksonville given the current state of the franchise. The Raiders are one of the Jaguars’ biggest competitors for a top draft pick, and if the season ended today, Jacksonville would pick No. 3 overall. According to PFN’s model, the Jaguars have a 10.2% chance of landing the No. 1 overall pick.
Still, give them credit: they are still fighting. Even with Trevor Lawrence, Christian Kirk, and Gabe Davis among others sidelined for the rest of the year, the Jaguars don’t seem to be quitting on head coach Doug Pederson. It remains to be seen if this will allow him to keep his job.
31) New England Patriots
Record: 3-12
- Offense+ Rank: 26
- Defense+ Rank: 30
- Special Teams+ Rank: 2
- SOS Rank: 23
On Sunday, the Patriots dropped their fifth straight game, as the Bills defeated New England 24-21. However, the Pats deserve credit for gaining an early lead over the Bills and battling them until the end of the game.
Drake Maye threw for 261 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, and New England’s defense shockingly held Josh Allen to just 154 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception (plus just 30 rushing yards).
While this has been a tough season for New England, the fact that they have seemingly found their quarterback of the future makes it easier to stomach. After dropping to 3-12, the Patriots have a 15.9% chance of landing the No. 1 pick.
32) New York Giants
Record: 2-13
- Offense+ Rank: 31
- Defense+ Rank: 22
- Special Teams+ Rank: 15
- SOS Rank: 14
This has been a season to forget for New York. The Giants lost their 10th consecutive game on Sunday, losing to the Falcons 34-7.
Fortunately for the Giants, the Raiders defeated the Jaguars in Week 16, so New York has a great shot of landing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. PFN’s model currently gives New York 41.3% odds of landing the top selection.
It will be interesting to see if the Giants part ways with head coach Brian Daboll. While he’s had some tough outings, plenty of franchises would love to hire him if New York fires him.
