It’s early in the 2023 NFL season, but a competitive race for Offensive Rookie of the Year is brewing. If someone told you who the three early betting favorites would be, you wouldn’t be surprised to hear two of them in C.J. Stroud and Anthony Richardson. But De’Von Achane had another monster performance for the second week in a row and has emerged as another contender for the award.
Each of these three players had impressive Week 4 performances, but how will the Offensive Rookie of the Year odds be impacted after Sunday’s games?

NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds Update
After throwing for 280 yards and two TDs in the Texans’ first win of the season in Week 3, Stroud’s OROY odds moved significantly. His betting odds of +450 trailed only Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson (+300), but after today, he’s now the sole favorite at DraftKings at +200.
Rams WR Puka Nacua, who wasn’t even listed at sportsbooks to win the award before the season, is now second behind Stroud at +425. Nacua had a monster game on Sunday, going for over 163 receiving yards and scoring the game-winning touchdown in overtime.

Trailing Stroud and Nacua to round out the top-five are Achane (+450), Robinson (+500), and Richardson (+600). Over the last two weeks, Achane has been the biggest riser, as he was +3500 going into Week 3.
We’re just four weeks into the 2023 NFL season, but it appears this is just the beginning of a very competitive OROY race. Stroud is in the driver’s seat for the moment, but Nacua and Achane are putting up ridiculous numbers, but how sustainable are they? Robinson was the favorite in the preseason, and although the Falcons have been struggling in recent weeks, he still remains strongly in the mix.
