NFL Week 6 Injury Tracker
Baltimore Ravens at Tennessee Titans
- Ravens: RB Keaton Mitchell, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); EDGE Odafe Oweh, OUT (ankle)
- Titans: WR Treylon Burks, OUT (knee); C Aaron Brewer, QUESTIONABLE (neck); DT Teair Tart; QUESTIONABLE (toe); LB Luke Gifford, OUT (hamstring); DB Elijah Molden, OUT (hamstring)
Ravens: Baltimore is finally getting healthy. Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., offensive tackle Morgan Moses, and cornerback Marlon Humphrey — all of whom have missed games and or/practices in recent weeks — practiced fully this week.
Oweh was the only Raven who failed to participate this week. He hasn’t practiced since going down in Week 2. Mitchell is still on injured reserve (IR) but could be activated before Sunday’s game.
Titans: Burks hasn’t played since Week 3; Nick Westbrook-Ikhine will continue to see snaps and targets in his absence.
Elsewhere on offense, Brewer played every snap in Week 5 but was downgraded to a DNP on Thursday. Corey Levin will fill in at center if Brewer can’t play against the Ravens.
Washington Commanders at Atlanta Falcons
- Commanders: EDGE Efe Obada, QUESTIONABLE (knee); CB Christian Holmes, OUT (hamstring)
- Falcons: No injuries of note
Commanders: Washington is remarkably healthy entering Week 6. Obada has been on IR all season but could be activated this week. Holmes, who has only played on special teams this season, was the only Commander not practicing.
Falcons: Atlanta doesn’t have a single player on its injury report for the second straight week. While tight end Jonnu Smith, offensive tackle Kaleb McGary, and pass rusher Bud Dupree were limited earlier in the week, they’re ready to play on Sunday.
Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears
- Vikings: RB Kene Nwangwu, QUESTIONABLE (back)
- Bears: RB Roschon Johnson, OUT (concussion); RB Travis Homer, OUT (hamstring); C Lucas Patrick, QUESTIONABLE (concussion); CB Terell Smith, OUT (ankle/illness); S Eddie Jackson, QUESTIONABLE (foot)
Vikings: Minnesota’s most critical injury news came earlier this week, when star wideout Justin Jefferson was diagnosed with a hamstring injury. The Vikings officially placed Jefferson on IR on Wednesday, ensuring he’ll miss at least four games. Head coach Kevin O’Connell said Jefferson’s issue is not season-ending.
"I'd put a timetable of 4-6 weeks on Justin Jefferson's return to play."

Otherwise, the Vikings are incredibly healthy. Jordan Addison, Marcus Davenport, and Akayleb Evans were limited early in the week but are good to go for Sunday. Nwangwu is still on IR but could return this week.
Bears: On Friday, Chicago officially placed running back Khalil Herbert (ankle) and wide receiver Equanimeouis St. Brown (hamstring) on injured reserve. They’ll be required to miss at least four games.
Roschon Johnson would have stepped into the Bears’ RB1 role in Herbert’s absence, but he won’t play after failing to practice this week. The Bears’ 10-day turnaround between wasn’t enough time for the rookie back to clear the NFL’s concussion protocols.
With Homer also sidelined, D’Onta Foreman should dominate touches out of Chicago’s backfield. Darrynton Evans, whom the Bears signed off the Miami Dolphins’ practice squad earlier this week, will also mix in. Chicago doesn’t have an RB on its taxi squad.
Jackson hasn’t played since Week 2 and had not been practicing until this week. The fact that he managed even limited sessions and is questionable is a positive sign for the veteran safety’s potential availability.
Seattle Seahawks at Cincinnati Bengals
- Seahawks: QB Drew Lock, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); G Phil Haynes, QUESTIONABLE (calf); G Damien Lewis, DOUBTFUL (ankle); CB Coby Bryant, OUT (toe); CB Artie Burns, OUT (hamstring)
- Bengals: WR Tee Higgins, QUESTIONABLE (ribs); DT Josh Tupou, QUESTIONABLE (toe); LB Akeem Davis-Gaither, OUT (knee); LB Devin Harper, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); CB Chidobe Awuzie, QUESTIONABLE (back)
Seahawks: Left tackle Charles Cross (toe) hasn’t played since Week 1, while safety Jamal Adams left the Seahawks’ Week 4 win with a concussion. Both players have been removed from Seattle’s injury report and will play on Sunday. Cross’ return will be especially critical for an offensive line without Lewis at left guard.
Lock, Geno Smith’s backup, sat out of Thursday’s practice with an ankle injury. The Seahawks signed fellow QB Holton Ahlers to their practice squad as insurance.
Bengals: Higgins sat out of Sunday’s win after fracturing his ribs in Week 4. He lobbied to play, but Cincinnati held him out despite a full practice on Friday.
Higgins was limited Wednesday and Thursday, even though he said he’s been doing everything every other Bengal has done at practice. He was upgraded to a full practice on Friday.
Cincinnati’s WR2 said he isn’t sure if he’ll play against the Seahawks this week but said “it’s looking promising.” On Friday, head coach Zac Taylor labeled Higgins a game-time decision for Week 6.

Awuzie suffered a back injury during last week’s practices and couldn’t play against the Arizona Cardinals. He sat out Wednesday’s session but returned for limited work on Thursday. Like Higgins, Awuzie will be a game-time call.
San Francisco 49ers at Cleveland Browns
- 49ers: RB Elijah Mitchell, QUESTIONABLE (knee); LB Dre Greenlaw, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring)
- Browns: QB Deshaun Watson, OUT (shoulder); WR Cedric Tillman, OUT (hip); TE David Njoku, QUESTIONABLE (face/hand); G Joel Bitonio, OUT (knee); C Ethan Pocic, QUESTIONABLE (chest/knee/foot)
49ers: Mitchell, who missed most of the 2022 regular season with a knee injury before being sidelined by a groin issue over the summer, practiced for the first time since Week 2 on Thursday. If he plays, Mitchell should slide back into his RB2 role behind Christian McCaffrey.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan said the 49ers were hoping Greenlaw would “feel better” by Friday, and he managed a limited practice after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday. Oren Burkls will start at LB opposite Fred Warner if Greenlaw can’t suit up.
Browns: Watson didn’t play in Week 4 despite being medically cleared after suffering a rotator cuff contusion. Even though Cleveland is coming off its bye, Watson has not practiced this week and will not play against the 49ers on Sunday, as CBS Sports reported.
On Friday, Cleveland.com reported Watson “could miss multiple more weeks” as he recovers, although the Browns hope he’s ready for Week 7.
The Browns promoted veteran P.J. Walker to No. 2 on their quarterback depth chart following fifth-round rookie Dorian Thompson Robinson’s three-interception outing against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4. He’ll start against the 49ers with Watson sidelined.
Njoku played in Week 4 after suffering severe burns to his face and hand. He sat out of practice until Friday and could suit up in Week 6.
Bitonio, who has started 102 consecutive regular-season games, won’t play Sunday, while Pocic is questionable. Michael Dunn and Nick Harris are the next men up at left guard and center, respectively.
New Orleans Saints at Houston Texans
- Saints: FB Adam Prentice, OUT (knee); TE Juwan Johnson, OUT (calf); G Andrus Peat, QUESTIONABLE (concussion/groin); OT Landon Young, OUT (hip); S Lonnie Johnson, OUT (hamstring); S J.T. Gray, OUT (hamstring)
- Texans: WR Tank Dell, QUESTIONABLE (concussion); WR Robert Woods, QUESTIONABLE (Robert Woods); LB Christian Harris, QUESTIONABLE (concussion)
Saints: Derek Carr was limited all last week and listed as questionable heading into Sunday’s game, but his right shoulder sprain apparently healed enough for the veteran QB to fully practice this week.
Juwan Johnson has missed two games since suffering a pre-game calf injury in Week 4 and will be sidelined for another on Sunday. Foster Moreau, Taysom Hill, and Jimmy Graham will continue to handle tight end in New Orleans.
Texans: Dell has been electric to begin his rookie campaign but failed to practice on Wednesday or Thursday while recovering from a concussion. After logging a limited session on Friday, he’s listed as questionable, but Dell is still expected to miss Week 6.
Noah Brown (groin), designated to return from IR but not yet activated, could help replace Dell against the Saints if he can suit up.
Woods and Harris managed full practices on Friday, indicating they’ll be available against the Saints.
Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars
- Colts: TE Mo-Alie Cox, QUESTIONABLE (concussion); C Ryan Kelly, QUESTIONABLE (ankle/foot); OT Braden Smith, OUT (foot/wrist)
- Jaguars: WR Zay Jones, OUT (knee); OT Walker Little, OUT (knee); DT DaVon Hamilton, OUT (back); LB Devin Lloyd, QUESTIONABLE (thumb); CB Christian Braswell, OUT (hamstring)
Colts: Indianapolis will be without rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson for at least four weeks after placing him on IR on Wednesday. Richardson could miss as many as eight weeks after suffering a Grade 3 AC joint sprain in his right shoulder. Gardner Minshew, who’s already made one start this season, will take over under center.
It wasn’t all bad news for the Colts, however. Left tackle Bernhard Raimann (concussion), edge rusher Kwity Paye (concussion), and linebacker Shaquille Leonard (groin) all missed time with injuries but practiced fully on Wednesday.
Rookie Blake Freeland — who filled in for Raimann last week — will likely take over right tackle for Smith on Sunday. Wesley French will play center if Kelly can’t go.
Jaguars: Jones missed two weeks with an injury, then had a setback after returning in Week 5. Jacksonville head coach Doug Pederson said Jones’ MRI was clean and labeled the veteran pass catcher day-to-day ahead of Sunday’s AFC South matchup against the Colts, but he won’t play this week.
Little’s MRI was also positive, but he hasn’t practiced and won’t play, either. Tyler Shatley will make his second start at left guard.
Lloyd was sidelined for the Jaguars’ two-game stint in London, but the club has been targeting a Week 6 return for the second-year LB. Jacksonville designated Hamilton to return from IR on Thursday but won’t activate him for Sunday’s game.
Carolina Panthers at Miami Dolphins
- Panthers: RB Miles Sanders, OUT (shoulder); FB Giovanni Ricci, OUT (shoulder); TE Ian Thomas, QUESTIONABLE (calf); TE Stephen Sullivan, QUESTIONABLE (hip); G Chandler Zavala, OUT (neck); G Austin Corbett, OUT (knee); DT Derrick Brown, QUESTIONABLE (knee/ankle); EDGE Brian Burns, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); S Xavier Woods, OUT (hamstring); S Vonn Bell; OUT (quadriceps)
- Dolphins: FB Alec Ingold, QUESTIONABLE (foot); RB Jeff Wilson Jr., DOUBTFUL (ribs/finger); G Robert Jones, QUESTIONABLE (knee); C Connor Williams, OUT (groin); EDGE Jaelan Phillips, QUESTIONABLE (oblique); CB Nik Needham, DOUBTFUL (Achilles)
Panthers: Sanders, listed on Carolina’s injury report with a groin issue over the last several weeks, is now dealing with a new shoulder problem. He didn’t practice this week and will not play against the Dolphins. Chuba Hubbard will draw the start and earn the bulk of the RB touches, per head coach Frank Reich.
Zavala suffered a scary neck injury on Sunday and had to be transported to a local hospital for evaluation, but he traveled back to Carolina with the rest of the team.
On defense, Burns (full) and Brown (limited) returned to practice on Friday and should be expected to suit up on Sunday. But the Panthers will be without their starting safeties in Woods and Bell.
Dolphins: Miami will be without dynamic rookie De’Von Achane for at least four games after placing the RB on IR on Wednesday.
The Dolphins opened the 21-day practice window for Wilson, who is still on IR and appears unlikely to play this weekend after drawing a questionable tag. Head coach Mike McDaniel said Wilson will be worked into Miami’s RB rotation on a pitch count once he is activated.
"Achane is averaging almost double what the modern-era record for yards per carry is." 👀 @AdamHBeasley discusses how De'Von Achane's absence will affect the #Dolphins offense on the NEW episode of the #PFN365 Dolphins Podcast.

Although Phillips has practiced this week, head coach Mike McDaniel would not commit to the pass rusher being available in Week 6. Phillips has missed two games with an oblique injury.
Williams didn’t practice this week, forcing the Dolphins to turn back to Liam Eichenberg at center.
New England Patriots at Las Vegas Raiders
- Patriots: WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, OUT (concussion); WR Demario Douglas, OUT (concussion); WR Tyquan Thornton, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); OT Trent Brown, QUESTIONABLE (chest); OT Riley Reiff, OUT (knee); OT Tyrone Wheatley Jr., OUT (knee); G Mike Onwenu, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); G Cole Strange, OUT (knee); DT Christian Barmore, QUESTIONABLE (knee); DT Davon Godchaux, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); EDGE Matthew Judon, OUT (elbow); EDGE Josh Uche, QUESTIONABLE (knee); EDGE Trey Flowers, QUESTIONABLE (foot); CB Jonathan Jones, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); CB Shaun Wade, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); S Kyle Dugger, QUESTIONABLE (foot); DB Cody Davis, OUT (knee)
- Raiders: OT Justin Herron, OUT (concussion); CB Nate Hobbs, OUT (ankle); CB Jakorian Bennett, QUESTIONABLE(shoulder)
Patriots: New England has a lengthy injury report heading into Week 6, and the club will be without several starters, including Smith-Schuster and Strange, the latter of whom hasn’t played since Week 2.
Elsewhere on the OL, Onwenu left Sunday’s game with an ankle injury but practiced on a limited basis throughout the week. Reiff returned from IR to play 45 snaps on Sunday, but he’ll be out again in Week 6.
Raiders: Hobbs was the only Raider who has failed to practice this week — he’s missed two games with an ankle issue. Las Vegas could get at least one CB back, though. Sidelined in Week 5, Bennett was a limited practice participant every day this week.
Detroit Lions at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Lions: RB Jahmyr Gibbs, OUT (hamstring); RB Zonovan Knight, OUT (shoulder); TE Sam LaPorta, QUESTIONABLE (calf); TE James Mitchell, OUT (hamstring); G Jonah Jackson, OUT (ankle); EDGE Joshua Paschal, OUT (knee); DB Brian Branch, OUT (ankle); DB Khailil Dorsey, QUESTIONABLE (illness)
- Buccaneers: EDGE Shaquil Barett, QUESTIONABLE (illness)
Lions: With Gibbs sidelined for a second consecutive game, Craig Reynolds will pick up any additional carries behind starting RB David Montgomery. Elsewhere in Detroit’s backfield, Knight is expected to miss the rest of the year after suffering a season-ending shoulder injury in Week 5, per ESPN.
Jackson and Branch also failed to practice this week and won’t suit up against the Bucs. Jackson was in a walking boot after Sunday’s game and will likely be replaced by Halapoulivaati Vaitai. Branch was working on the sideline during this week’s practices after missing Week 5 with an ankle problem.
LaPorta was a full participant on Wednesday but popped up on the injury report with a calf strain on Thursday. He did not practice on Thursday but was able to participate on Friday. Dan Campbell isn’t sure if the rookie TE will play on Sunday, but LaPorta thinks he’ll be ready.
Buccaneers: Mike Evans went down with a hamstring injury in Week 4. While he couldn’t practice to begin the week, Evans was a full participant by Friday and isn’t even listed on Tampa Bay’s injury report. Head coach Todd Bowles referred to the veteran WR as a “full go” for Sunday’s matchup against the Lions.
Barrett’s illness forced him to miss consecutive practices to end the week. If he can’t play in Week 6, Anthony Nelson will likely draw the start on the edge opposite Joe Tryon-Shoyinka.
Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams
- Cardinals: WR Marquise Brown, QUESTIONABLE (illness); TE Elijah Higgins, QUESTIONABLE (illness); OL Dennis Daley, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); DL Jonathan Ledbetter, QUESTIONABLE (finger); EDGE Myjai Sanders, QUESTIONABLE (thumb); EDGE Jesse Luketa, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); LB Josh Woods, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); CB Garrett Williams, QUESTIONABLE (knee); S Jalen Thompson, OUT (hamstring)
- Rams: OL Joe Noteboom, QUESTIONABLE (groin); DT Larrell Murchison, QUESTIONABLE (knee); LB Ernest Jones, QUESTIONABLE (knee)
Cardinals: Keontay Ingram has missed the past two games with a neck issue but was notably listed as the RB1 on Arizona’s post-James Conner depth chart. He practiced in full on Friday and will not carry an injury designation into Sunday’s matchup. Ingram seems likely to split work with undrafted rookie Emari Demecardo, who handled 10 carries and scored a touchdown after Conner left Week 5.
After missing Wednesday’s practice, Brown was upgraded to limited on Thursday and Friday. Illnesses rarely keep players out of lineups on Sunday.
Rams: Noteboom, who opened the season as Los Angeles’ right guard but shifted to left tackle to replace the injured Alaric Jackson in Week 4, missed last week’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He could still play on Sunday after being upgraded to a limited practice on Friday. With Jackson back in the fold, Noteboom will return to right guard if he suits up.
Rams head coach Sean McVay said Jones will play in Week 6 despite his questionable tag.
Philadelphia Eagles at New York Jets
- Eagles: WR Quez Watkins, OUT (hamstring); DT Jalen Carter, OUT (ankle); DT Marlon Tuipulotu, QUESTIONABLE (triceps); CB Darius Slay, OUT (knee); S Sydney Brown, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring)
- Jets: FB Nick Bawden, QUESTIONABLE (calf); WR Xavier Gipson, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); EDGE Micheal Clemons, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); CB Sauce Gardner, QUESTIONABLE (illness); CB D.J. Reed, OUT (concussion); CB Brandin Echols, OUT (hamstring); CB Justin Hardee, OUT (hamstring)
Eagles: Slay picked up a knee injury in Philadelphia’s Week 5 win and won’t play against the Jets on Sunday, but head coach Nick Sirianni said Slay’s issue is not a “long-term thing.” Josh Jobe will likely replace Slay at outside CB.
Carter was a Thursday addition to the injury report, suggesting he was hurt during practice. He didn’t practice on Friday, either, and won’t suit up on Sunday.
Elsewhere on defense, Fletcher Cox is practicing after receiving an epidural injection in his back and missing Week 5. Linebacker Nakobe Dean is expected to play against the Jets on Sunday after being designated to return from IR.
Jets: Reed couldn’t clear the NFL’s concussion protocols in time to play last week, and he won’t play in Week 6, either. Bryce Hall will likely start at cornerback opposite Gardner, whom head coach Robert Saleh expects to suit up despite his questionable tag.
Fellow defensive backs Echols and Hardee failed to practice this week and are out for Week 6, which could hinder New York’s special teams lineup.
New York Giants at Buffalo Bills (SNF)
- Giants: QB Daniel Jones, OUT (neck); RB Saquon Barkley, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); RB Gary Brightwell, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); TE Darren Waller, QUESTIONABLE (groin); OT Andrew Thomas, OUT (hamstring); OT Evan Neal, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); OT Matt Peart, OUT(shoulder); G Shane Lemieux, QUESTIONABLE (groin); C John Michael Schmitz, OUT (shoulder); EDGE Azeez Ojulari, OUT (ankle); DT DJ Davidson, QUESTIONABLE (knee); LB Micah McFadden, QUESTIONABLE (ankle)
- Bills: TE Dalton Kincaid, QUESTIONABLE (concussion); TE Dawson Knox, QUESTIONABLE (wrist); CB Dane Jackson, QUESTIONABLE (foot)
Giants: Few, if any, teams can compete with New York’s lengthy injury report. Jones couldn’t practice this week after suffering a neck injury on Sunday and has been ruled out for Week 6, as head coach Brian Daboll announced today. Tyrod Taylor will draw the start against the Bills.
Daboll has labeled nearly every injured Giant as “day-to-day,” including Barkley, who hasn’t played since Week 2 but was limited on Wednesday and Thursday. Barkley “ramped up” his practice work this week and could be trending toward a Week 6 availability. If he plays, Barkley will run behind a line missing its starting left tackle (Thomas) and center (Schmitz).
Waller popped up on New York’s injury report on Wednesday and didn’t practice. Daboll seemed “somewhat optimistic” that Waller can get ready for Sunday night, and the veteran tight end returned to a limited practice on Thursday.
Bills: Jackson was the only Buffalo player not participating in practice this week, but he returned on Friday. If Jackson doesn’t play, former first-round pick Kaiir Elam will start at corner alongside Christian Benford, with Bills CB1 Tre’Davious White already out for the season.
On offense, Kincaid and Knox were limited all week. If both miss Sunday’s game, Quintin Morris will become Buffalo’s top tight end, while the club would likely elevate fellow TE Joel Wilson from its practice squad.
Not listed are linebacker Matt Milano and defensive tackle DaQuan Jones, both of whom were placed on IR Wednesday and are expected to miss the rest of the season.
Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Chargers (MNF)
- Cowboys: OL Chuma Edoga (illness); DT Johnathan Hankins (illness); LB Leighton Vander Esch (neck/concussion); LB Damone Clark (shoulder); CB C.J. Goodwin (pectoral); S Juanyeh Thomas (hamstring)
- Chargers: EDGE Joey Bosa (toe); DL Nick Williams (back); CB Deane Leonard (hamstring); S Alohi Gilman (heel)
Cowboys: Dallas is relatively healthy heading into Monday Night Football. Running back Tony Pollard was limited with a shoulder injury on Thursday but practiced in full on Friday. The same was true for ace return man KaVontae Turpin (ankle).

The only Cowboys not practicing for injury-related reasons this week are Vander Esch (who will soon be placed on IR), Clark, Goodwin, and Thomas.
Chargers: Justin Herbert and Austin Ekeler are technically listed on L.A.’s injury report, but they practiced fully on Thursday and Friday and will play in Week 6. Herbert left Week 4 with a finger fracture on his left hand, while Ekeler (ankle) hasn’t played since Week 1.
Bosa, Williams, Leonard, and Gilman failed to practice on Friday. If they don’t participate on Saturday, they’ll likely be listed as out for Monday night.
