    NFL Week 11 Injury Tracker

    Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns

    • Steelers: TE Pat Freiermuth, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); DT Montravius Adams, OUT (ankle); S Minkah Fitzpatrick, OUT (hamstring); S Keanu Neal, OUT (rib)
    • Browns: WR Marquise Goodwin, OUT (concussion); T Dawand Jones, QUESTIONABLE (knee); G Michael Dunn, QUESTIONABLE (calf); S Juan Thornhill, OUT (calf)

Steelers: Pittsburgh designated Freiermiuth to return from injured reserve (IR) on Wednesday morning, opening a three-week window during which the Steelers can activate him. Freiermuth initially went down in Week 5, then aggravated his hamstring injury leading up to Week 7. He fully practiced on Thursday and Friday after a limited Wednesday session.

Fitzpatrick has already missed two games and will now be sidelined for a third. With Neal also out, Damontae Kazee and Elijah Riley will start at safety.

BrownsCleveland made the biggest injury news of the week on Tuesday morning when they placed Deshaun Watson on IR following season-ending shoulder surgery. Fifth-round rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson will make his second start of the season on Sunday, playing ahead of veteran P.J. Walker.

On defense, Thornhill didn’t practice this week, which will lead to more time for fellow safety Rodney McLeod in Week 11.

    Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions

BearsJustin Fields is still listed on Chicago’s injury report as he works his back from a dislocated right thumb, but he fully practiced this week. He was close to playing in Week 10 and will start in Week 11.

RB Khalil Herbert also fully practiced after a limited Wednesday session. The Bears will activate him from IR before their matchup against the Lions. Foreman has been limited this week; if he sits out, Roschon Johnson could play a larger role.

Lions: Jackson missed Weeks 6 through 8 with an ankle injury and is now dealing with ankle and wrist issues. Graham Glasgow will play left guard in his absence.

Buggs will miss his fourth game of the season, and Dan Campbell suggested he could be sidelined for more games. Third-round rookie DT Brodic Martin, active for just one contest this year, should see snaps with Buggs out.

Los Angeles Chargers at Green Bay Packers

    • Chargers: RB Isaiah Spiller, QUESTIONABLE (illness); WR Keenan Allen, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); WR Jalen Guyton, QUESTIONABLE (groin); TE Gerald Everett, OUT (back)
    • Packers: EDGE Rashan Gary, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); LB Quay Walker, QUESTIONABLE (groin); CB Jaire Alexander, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); S Rudy Ford, DOUBTFUL (biceps)

Chargers: While Allen didn’t practice on Wednesday, head coach Brandon Staley said he’s “hopeful” the veteran WR will suit up against the Packers. Allen returned to the practice field on Thursday and was a full participant on Friday, suggesting he’ll be ready for Week 11. If he does sit out, Quentin Johnston and Guyton (presuming he plays would be in for a lot of work.

Meanwhile, Everett never practiced this week. Fellow TE Donald Parham Jr. was also absent to start the week but returned on Thursday and Friday and won’t carry an injury designation.

Packers: Green Bay removed Aaron Jones, Christian Watson, and other offensive players from its injury report by the end of the week, but the club is dealing with health issues on the defensive side of the ball, where they could be without four starters.

Gary wasn’t added to the report until Friday, suggesting he injured his shoulder during practice. Ford is the most likely to sit; when he was sidelined in Week 8, Dallin Leavitt filled in at safety.

Las Vegas Raiders at Miami Dolphins

    • Raiders: OT Kolton Miller, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); G Dylan Parham, QUESTIONABLE (calf); S Roderic Teamer, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring)
    • Dolphins: RB De’Von Achane, QUESTIONABLE (knee); FB Alec Ingold, QUESTIONABLE (foot); WR Chase Claypool, OUT (knee); WR Braxton Berrios, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); TE Durham Smythe, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); G Rob Hunt, OUT (hamstring); OL Rob Jones, OUT (knee)

Raiders: Offensive line issues continue to be an issue for Las Vegas. Miller sat out last week’s game and didn’t practice Wednesday, while Parham also failed to participate. Both players were limited on Thursday and Friday, but it remains unclear if they’ll be able to suit up for Week 11.

Dolphins: Miami designated Achane to return from IR this week, and the Dolphins are “very optimistic” the rookie RB can play on Sunday. He’ll likely split carries with Raheem Mostert, who was limited this week but will play in Week 11.

Claypool is the bigger name, but Berrios plays the bigger role — especially as a returner for the Dolphins. Berrios managed a limited Friday practice, but Claypool was absent all week after undergoing a “minor” knee procedure during Miami’s Week 10 bye.

Neither Hunt nor Jones — Miami’s starting guards — practiced this week. Liam Eichenberg and Lester Cotton will start in their place.

New York Giants at Washington Commanders

    • Giants: OT Evan Neal, OUT (ankle); OT Andrew Thomas, QUESTIONABLE (knee); CB Adoree’ Jackson, OUT (concussion)
    • Commanders: RB Antonio Gibson, DOUBTFUL (toe); FB Alex Armah, OUT (hamstring); EDGE James Smith-Williams, OUT (hamstring)

Giants: Neal and Jackson, who missed the Giants’ 10 loss, are the only injured New York players who’ve failed to practice this week. Tyre Phillips will handle right tackle again, while Nick McCloud will continue to replace Jackson at corner.

CommandersGibson popped up on Washington’s injury report for the first time this season on Wednesday and hasn’t practiced this week. If Gibson misses Week 10, rookie RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. will likely change-of-pace work behind Brian Robinson.

    Dallas Cowboys at Carolina Panthers

    • Cowboys: No injuries of note
    • Panthers: WR Laviska Shenault, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); TE Hayden Hurst, OUT (concussion); TE Stephen Sullivan, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); TE Ian Thomas, QUESTIONABLE (calf); EDGE Marquis Haynes, OUT (back); CB C.J. Henderson, OUT (concussion); CB Jaycee Horn, OUT (hamstring); S Xavier Woods, QUESTIONABLE (thigh)

Cowboys: No Dallas player will have an injury designation for Week 11.

Panthers: Hurst never practiced this week, so Tommy Tremble will serve as Carolina’s TE1 against the Cowboys on Sunday.

The Panthers thought Horn — who’s been out since Week 1 — might be able to return for Week 11, but he won’t be activated from IR. Henderson will also sit after suffering a concussion in Week 10,

    Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars

    • Titans: WR Treylon Burks, OUT (concussion); OT Andre Dillard, OUT (concussion); G Daniel Brunskill, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); LB Luke Gifford, QUESTIONABLE (shin); CB Sean Murhpy-Bunting, OUT (thumb)
    • Jaguars: WR Zay Jones, OUT (knee); WR Jamal Agnew, OUT (shoulder/ribs); WR Parker Washington, QUESTIONABLE (knee); OT Anton Harrison, QUESTIONABLE (back); DT Roy Robertson-Harris, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); CB Tyson Campbell, OUT (hamstring)

Titans: Burks briefly lost consciousness and had to be carted off the field after suffering a concussion in Week 10. He missed Sunday’s game, and head coach Mike Vrabel said Burks isn’t trending toward returning this week.

Dillard never seemed likely to clear the NFL’s concussion protocol this week. With Tennessee’s left tackle sidelined, Dillon Radunz will man Will Levis’ blindside.

Jaguars: Jones has missed six of Jacksonville’s nine games with an ongoing knee injury. He was also arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery last week. It’s unclear if Jones’ legal situation affected his status for Week 11.

Campbell missed two games with a hamstring issue, then aggravated that injury in the Jaguars’ loss on Sunday. Jacksonville’s top cornerback, Campbell hasn’t practiced this week and will not suit up against the Titans.

    Arizona Cardinals at Houston Texans

    • Cardinals: RB Emari Demercado, OUT (toe); WR Michael Wilson, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); WR Zach Pascal, OUT (hamstring); OT D.J. Humphries, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); OL Trystan Colon, QUESTIONABLE (calf); DT Kevin Strong, QUESTIONABLE (knee); DT Jonathan Ledbetter, OUT (shoulder); LB Ezekiel Turner, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); S Joey Blount, OUT (knee)
    • Texans: RB Dameon Pierce, OUT (ankle); WR Noah Brown, QUESTIONABLE (knee); EDGE Will Anderson Jr., QUESTIONABLE (knee); EDGE Dylan Horton, QUESTIONABLE (knee); LB Jake Hansen, OUT (hamstring/hand); LB Henry To’oTo’o, OUT (concussion); S Jimmie Ward, OUT (hamstring); S Grayland Arnold, OUT (calf)

Cardinals: Demercado missed Arizona’s past two games. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday before being downgraded to DNP and ruled out on Friday. Recent waiver addition Michael Carter could see pass-catching work behind James Conner.

Wilson was added to the Cardinals’ injury report on Friday, suggesting he injured his shoulder during practice. If he sits out alongside Pascal, Greg Dortch will likely be Arizona’s WR3 behind Marquise Brown and Rondale Moore.

Texans: Pierce has been sidelined for two games and will miss a third. He practiced in a limited capacity on Friday, so he might be ready by the time Week 12 rolls around. Devin Singletary took 30 carries for 150 yards and a TD against the Bengals on Sunday.

Brown also missed practice this week but is still listed as questionable after posting 13 receptions for 325 yards and a score over the past two weeks. Fellow WRs Nico Collins and Robert Woods were upgraded to full practices by the end of the week and will play on Sunday.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at San Francisco 49ers

    • Buccaneers: G Matt Feiler, QUESTIONABLE (knee); LB Devin White, QUESTIONABLE (foot); CB Carlton Davis, QUESTIONABLE (toe); C Josh Hayes, QUESTIONABLE (concussion); S Ryan Neal, OUT (thumb)
    • 49ers: G Aaron Banks, OUT (toe); G Nick Zakelj, OUT (biceps); EDGE Robert Beal, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); CB Samuel Womack, QUESTIONABLE (knee); CB Darrell Luter, QUESTIONABLE (knee)

Buccaneers: WR Mike Evans (quadriceps) was limited on Wednesday but returned for a full practice session on Thursday. He’s good to go for Week 11.

    MORE: NFL Defense Rankings 2023

Neal won’t play, so Dee Delaney will see starter’s snaps at safety. Feiler and Davis practiced fully all week, while White was full on Friday. It will be surprising if any member of that trifecta sits out Sunday’s game.

49ers: Banks was also sidelined in Week 10. Jon Feliciano played left guard in place of Banks on Sunday. Beal and Womack are on IR, while Luter is on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.

New York Jets at Buffalo Bills

    • Jets: WR Garrett Wilson, QUESTIONABLE (elbow); OT Billy Turner, OUT (finger); OT Duane Brown, OUT (hip); TE Kenny Yeboah, OUT (hamstring); EDGE Will McDonald IV, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); LB Sam Eguavoen, OUT (hip); LB Chazz Surratt, OUT (ankle)
    • Bills: WR Trent Sherfield, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); DT Jordan Phillips, QUESTIONABLE (knee)

JetsWilson picked up an elbow injury in New York’s Sunday night loss to the Raiders. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday.

Asked Friday if Wilson will be available against the Bills, head coach Robert Saleh said, “We’ll see,” noting the second-year WR has a “couple hurdles he has to clear.” But Wilson told reporters that he plans to play in Week 11.

Bills: Buffalo can’t afford any more injuries on the defensive side of the ball. Fortunately, the Bills are starting to get healthier. CB Christian Benford and S Micah Hyde sat out Buffalo’s Week 10 loss to the Denver Broncos but don’t have an injury designation for Sunday. Phillips is questionable, but he fully practiced on Friday.

Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams

    • Seahawks: WR Tyler Lockett, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); WR Dareke Young, OUT (abdomen); OT Abraham Lucas, QUESTIONABLE (knee); CB Tre Brown, QUESTIONABLE (foot); S Jamal Adams, QUESTIONABLE (knee)
    • Rams: CB Cobie Durant, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder)

Seahawks: Lockett didn’t practice Wednesday or Thursday and appears to be sitting out Friday’s session as well. Still, Seattle is still listing him as questionable, and the Seattle Times’ Bob Condotta suggested Lockett should play this week.

Meanwhile, Lucas — Seattle’s starting right tackle — practiced this week for the first time since going down with a knee injury in Week 1. He’s still on IR and might have to wait another week before being activated. Over the past three weeks, the Seahawks have been deploying a Jason Peters/Stone Forsythe RT platoon.

Rams: You don’t see Matthew Stafford’s name listed above — that’s because the veteran quarterback fully practiced on Wednesday after missing part of Week 8 and all of Week 9 with a thumb injury. Stafford was always expected to return following Los Angeles’ Week 10 bye.

Durant is the only Ram with an injury designation for Sunday. L.A.’s slot corner injured his shoulder in Week 8 and didn’t play a full complement of snaps in Week 9.

Minnesota Vikings at Denver Broncos (SNF)

    • Vikings: QB Jaren Hall, OUT (concussion); QB Nick Mullens, QUESTIONABLE (limited); RB Alexander Mattison, QUESTIONABLE (concussion); WR Justin Jefferson, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); LB Brian Asamoah II, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); CB Akayleb Evans, OUT (calf)
    • Broncos: S P.J. Locke, OUT (ankle)

VikingsJefferson is still on IR as he works his way back from a hamstring. He was eligible to play last week but was not activated. Jefferson has been limited this week, but head coach Kevin O’Connell didn’t sound overly optimistic about having his WR1 available for Sunday night.

Mattison didn’t practice Wednesday after suffering a concussion against the Saints. But he was upgraded to limited on Thursday and fully practiced on Friday. O’Connell said Mattison will exit the concussion protocol today, giving him a chance to play against the Broncos. If he can’t suit up, Ty Chandler will handle the Vikings backfield.

Josh Dobbs has claimed Minnesota’s QB1 job, but the Vikings could be getting some depth under center. While Hall won’t play while recovering from a brain injury, Mullens is expected to be activated from IR.

On defense, Evans didn’t practice this week after injuring his calf against New Orleans. Minnesota tried to claim ex-Patriots CB Jack Jones earlier this week, suggesting the club wanted extra bodies in the secondary. Andrew Booth Jr. will see more time at corner.

Broncos: Denver is incredibly healthy entering Week 11. WR Jerry Jeudy popped up on the club’s injury report on Thursday but won’t carry a designation for Sunday’s game.

Philadelphia Eagles at Kansas City Chiefs (MNF)

Eagles: Goedert is expected to miss at least a month after fracturing his arm in Week 9, but Philadelphia isn’t placing him on IR. Evans was limited on Friday.

Chiefs: Kansas City has eight players on its injury report, but all are fully practicing and will play on Monday night.
