NFL Injuries Week 1: Tracking Every Injury, Including the Latest on J.K. Dobbins, Diontae Johnson, and Others

With the return of the NFL, injuries have already reared their ugly heads. We track every injury from every Week 1 game.

Each team enters Week 1 with optimism for the season ahead, but key injuries can change the outlook. Some teams will need to have depth at key positions to overcome some of today’s injuries.

Here’s an update on the injuries from today’s NFL games.

    NFL Week 1 Injury Tracker

    Houston Texans at Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens played without tight end Mark Andrews today due to a quad injury. Losing two more starters will put more pressure on quarterback Lamar Jackson to carry the offense.

    • Texans OT George Fant (shoulder)
    • Texans DT Hassan Ridgeway (calf)
    • Texans S Jalen Pitre (bruised lung)

San Francisco 49ers at Pittsburgh Steelers

Losing Johnson and Freiermuth for any extended period of time will test the Steelers’ offensive depth. Heyward is a significant loss up front as one of the best defensive linemen in the NFL.

    Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons

    Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns

Losing a two-time All-Pro tackle could slow down what could be a strong Browns offense in 2023. Update: Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport, Jack Conklin tore his ACL and will be out for the season.

    Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts

    • Jaguars G Brandon Scherff (ankle)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Minnesota Vikings

Bradbury has started 58 games since 2019.

Tennessee Titans at New Orleans Saints

    Arizona Cardinals at Washington Commanders

    • Commanders OL Sam Cosmi was evaluated for a concussion but returned to the game.

Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks

    • Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett was evaluated for a concussion during the third quarter. Ended up returning.

Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Chargers

    • Chargers WR Mike Williams left with a head injury. Was evaluated for a concussion but returned.
    • Chargers RB Austin Ekeler left late in the third quarter with what appeared to be a tweaked foot/ankle ailment. Ended up getting his ankles taped up and didn’t leave.

    • Packers WR Jayden Reed helped off the field with a right foot injury.
    • Packers RB Aaron Jones injured his hamstring and didn’t return.
