Latest Injury Report News and Updates
The Rams are heading to San Francisco on the heels of their huge win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 14 and have won six of their last eight games. However, they are dealing with a couple of injuries in this short week.
Tight end Tyler Higbee remains out as he continues recovering from ACL and MCL injuries from January. He has yet to be activated from the reserve/physically unable to participate list. The Rams have one more week to activate Higbee. If not, he will miss the remainder of the season, as his 21-day practice window will end.
The Rams will also be without one of their top cornerbacks, Cobie Durant, who is out with a chest injury. He suffered a lung contusion during Sunday’s win over the Bills and did not practice all week.
Meanwhile, defensive end Tyler Davis (calf), wide receivers Jordan Whittington (shoulder) and Demarcus Robinson (shoulder), tight end Davis Allen (shoulder), and offensive linemen Beaux Limmer (knee) and Alaric Jackson (knee) are all listed as questionable.
For the 49ers, injuries have defined their 2024 season, and that continued in Week 14. Running back Isaac Guerendo, filling in for the injured Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason, suffered a foot sprain last Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
Guerendo reportedly plans to play Thursday, but it remains to be seen how limited he’ll be. He’s listed as questionable for Thursday after logging a limited practice session on Wednesday.

The 49ers may get the return of DE Nick Bosa (hip, oblique) and potentially the season debut of linebacker Dre Greenlaw. Greenlaw hasn’t played since tearing his Achilles during the Super Bowl but was able to practice all week, including getting a full practice designation on Wednesday.
Both players are listed as questionable, but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that San Francisco plans to activate Greenlaw for Thursday’s game.
