Latest Injury Report News and Updates

Kansas City will attempt to hold onto its firm grasp of the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC. On Sunday night in Week 14, the Chiefs will be forced to fend off the feisty Chargers, who are looking to hold onto their Wild Card spot as well.

The Chiefs are off to a scorching hot 11-1 start, despite winning several close games and having a point differential of just +54 points in 2024. Kansas City has managed to win 11 games while missing several key offensive starters, as both Hollywood Brown and Rashee Rice are on injured reserve.

Kansas City appears to be in good shape heading into Sunday night, as they listed just three players on the team’s injury report on Thursday. Chiefs starting right tackle Jawaan Taylor was a limited participant in practice on Thursday due to a knee injury. Both Noah Gray and Charles Omenihu were full participants.

The Chargers are dealing with a significantly longer injury report in Week 14. Los Angeles recently placed starting running back J.K. Dobbins on injured reserve and several other starters were listed on the team’s injury report on Thursday.

If Los Angeles wants to pull off an upset on the road against the Chiefs, they’ll likely need rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey. However, the 23-year-old wide receiver is dealing with both a knee and shoulder injury, as he was listed as a limited participant for Thursday’s practice.
