Latest 49ers and Seahawks Injury Reports
49ers Week 15 Injury Report
The biggest concern for the 49ers this week is the health of quarterback Brock Purdy. The team has already lost Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo earlier in the year, and are now relying on the 2022 NFL Draft’s Mr. Irrelevant to try and lead them to the playoffs. A win tonight against Seattle will clinch them the NFC West crown.
Purdy is suffering from an oblique injury, but head coach Kyle Shanahan acknowledged that the injury shouldn’t get any worse if he decides to play. It’s just a matter of whether or not Purdy can play through the pain. The 22-year-old rookie remained optimistic and provided a positive update when asked if he would play.

“Just taking it one day at a time, getting as much treatment as I can,” Purdy said. “But overall, I feel pretty good.”
One player that has already been ruled out for the team is WR Deebo Samuel. After suffering an ankle injury, Samuel was ruled out fairly early on in the week. The team will now rely even more on Brandon Aiyuk, who is already having the best season of his young career.
Seahawks Week 15 Injury Report
The biggest concern for Seattle has been the health of running back Kenneth Walker III. After missing last week, the rookie sensation was taken off the injury report earlier in the week. Head coach Pete Carroll said that Walker looked good during the week at practice.
“He did really well,” Carroll said. “I was really pleased, and he looked really quick out here.” Walker leads all rookies with nine rushing touchdowns and ranks second with 449 rushing yards.
With Walker good to go, Seattle’s inactives list will focus more on key members of their defense, including Ryan Neal, Joey Blunt, and Tre Brown.
