Latest Injury Report News and Updates

Commanders cornerback Marshon Lattimore is playing Sunday, which means we’re getting yet another classic battle between the veteran cornerback and Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans.

Lattimore missed the last two games and six out of eight overall during the regular season due to a hamstring injury, but he will play Sunday against the Buccaneers. He was given a rest day Friday.

The only player Washington ruled out for Sunday was tight end Colson Yankoff (hamstring). Yankoff is still on injured reserve and just had his 21-day practice window opened this week.

Wide receiver Jamison Crowder, who’s listed as questionable due to a hamstring injury, is the only other player with a game designation for Sunday night, as Washington is fairly healthy heading into the postseason. Crowder will play vs. the Bucs.

Quarterback Jayden Daniels was initially listed on the injury report with a quad injury but was a full participant in practice all week. Daniels will also get a key piece on the offensive line back for the playoffs. Center Tyler Biadasz (ankle) missed last week’s game against the Dallas Cowboys but will be back in action against the Buccaneers. Tackles Cornelius Lucas (groin) and Brandon Coleman (knee) will also be available Sunday.

For the Buccaneers, only cornerback Troy Hill (foot) was ruled out early. Hill is still on injured reserve and designated for return. All of the Bucs’ inactive are healthy scratches, so Tampa Bay is also relatively healthy (aside from IR guys like wide receiver Chris Godwin, linebacker SirVocea Dennis, and cornerback Bryce Hall).

Cornerback Jamel Dean (knee), safety Mike Edwards (quadriceps), defensive lineman Logan Hall (groin), tight end Cade Otton (knee), and safety Antoine Winfield (knee) were listed questionable and will all play.

After missing the last three games, Otton will be back in the lineup for the Buccaneers, giving quarterback Baker Mayfield a reliable intermediate target.

The defense is also getting a huge boost with the return of Winfield, who has been out since Week 14 with a knee injury but logged a full week of practice. Both he and Dean are back this week, giving Tampa Bay key reinforcements in the secondary for the challenging matchup with Daniels.
