Latest Injury Report News and Updates

Running back James Conner highlights the injury report for the Cardinals this week. Conner is questionable with a knee injury. Fellow running back Trey Benson (ankle) is also listed as questionable.

Both backs were limited in practice all week. Conner is expected to play Saturday but Benson looks like a game-time decision. The Cardinals could choose to again elevate Michael Carter from the practice squad.

The Rams have a very light injury report, especially for Week 17. Only two players, right tackle Rob Havenstein and left tackle Alaric Jackson, are on the report.

Jackson was given a rest day Thursday. He’s good for Saturday. Havenstein, on the other hand, is hurt. He suffered a shoulder injury during practice Wednesday and did not practice Thursday. Of note, on normal weeks, Havenstein has been getting Fridays off. Thursday would have essentially been treated as a Friday this week with the Rams playing Saturday.

That said, head coach Sean McVay noted Havenstein wouldn’t be able to practice Thursday. He is listed as questionable for Saturday’s game. If Havenstein can’t go, Joe Noteboom would get the start at right tackle.
