Latest Injury Report News and Updates
At 3-13 entering the final week, the Browns are shutting down a handful of players. RB Jerome Ford (ankle), LB Jordan Hicks (concussion), TE David Njoku (knee), RB Pierre Strong (concussion), DT Dalvin Tomlinson (knee) and CB Denzel Ward (shoulder) all were ruled out by the team this week. Expect at least a few of them to be placed on injured reserve to give the Browns some roster room to elevate and evaluate other players in their final game.
A host of players are also listed as questionable for Saturday, including CB Cameron Mitchell (knee), DE Ogbo Okoronkwo (knee), TE Blake Whiteheart, QB Jameis Winston and WR Mike Woods. The Browns have already announced that Bailey Zappe will get the start at quarterback following the struggles of Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
The Ravens don’t have a huge laundry list on their injury report, a good sign heading into the playoffs. Only two players were ruled out: CB Jalyn Armour-Davis (hamstring) and RB Justice Hill (concussion/illness). Armour-Davis was moved to injured reserve for the second time this season.
The Ravens did activate TE Charlie Kolar from injured reserve. Kolar missed four games with a broken forearm but is on track to play Saturday and be ready for the playoffs. Getting Kolar back helps give the Ravens their pieces back in the run game just in time for Wild Card Weekend next week.
