New York Jets (7-5) at Buffalo Bills (9-3)

    • Channel: CBS
    • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
    • Live stream: CBS All-Access, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV

The New York Jets got the better of the Buffalo Bills in round one, but the circumstances are different this time. The Bills have improved from the middle of the season, with the offense starting to look like the juggernaut it was to start the year. Meanwhile, Jordan Poyer is back, and the defense is healthier despite losing Von Miller.

The Jets have had changes of their own. Zach Wilson is on the bench, and Mike White is starting his third game for New York. When White played Buffalo last season, he tossed four interceptions. While things may not progress to that level, the Bills’ defense should be a much tougher test than White’s last two outings.

Cleveland Browns (5-7) at Cincinnati Bengals (8-4)

    • Channel: CBS
    • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
    • Live stream: CBS All-Access, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV

Back-to-back AFC divisional games take us to Ohio for an AFC North battle between the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals. Ja’Marr Chase is back, and the Bengals have been rolling since falling to the Browns in Week 8. Despite their 0-2 start Cincinnati is 8-2 since with hopes of securing an AFC North title.

Despite Cleveland having the new franchise QB return from suspension, Deshaun Watson showed plenty of rust in his first football action in over two years. While some rust may wear off, the Bengals’ offense can score. Given the Browns’ defensive troubles this season, expect them to have a tough time slowing down the Bengals like they did in Week 8.

Houston Texans (1-10-1) at Dallas Cowboys (9-3)

    • Channel: FOX
    • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
    • Live stream: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now

The Houston Texans head to AT&T Stadium to take on the Dallas Cowboys in this all-Texas matchup. Dallas scored 54 points against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 13. They’ve scored 40+ points three different times this season. Given that the Houston Texans lost to the Cleveland Browns, who scored three non-offensive touchdowns, it is not a matter of if this game gets ugly. It’s a matter of when.

Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard are excelling in the Cowboys’ rushing attack, Dak Prescott is back to his full potential, and the defense is a nightmare. Houston is surrendering the most rushing yards per game this season. If the Cowboys lose, the entire league would be shell-shocked.

Minnesota Vikings (10-2) at Detroit Lions (5-7)

    • Channel: FOX
    • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
    • Live stream: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now

How about an NFC divisional game? We head to the NFC North where, surprisingly, the 5-7 Detroit Lions are two-point favorites over the 10-2 Minnesota Vikings. What’s Vegas’ reasoning? Well, for starters, the Lions have been playing stellar football over the last five weeks. Outside of a three-point Thanksgiving Day loss to the Bills, the Lions have outperformed their offensive and defensive standards.

Meanwhile, the Vikings have scraped by all season, barely winning games left and right. Minnesota may be 10-2, but that record rings hollowly when combined with last-second heroics and noticeable weaknesses. The Lions have one of the best red zone offenses in the NFL this season. They should be able to expose a faulty Minnesota defense.

Jacksonville Jaguars (4-8) at Tennessee Titans (7-5)

    • Channel: CBS
    • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
    • Live stream: CBS All-Access, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV

The divisional matchups keep coming on the Week 14 NFL Games Today schedule. This AFC South showdown features the Jacksonville Jaguars heading to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans. Trevor Lawrence is questionable to play with a toe injury, but even with his status in the air, Jacksonville has put forth a mixed bag of performances all season.

Meanwhile, despite dropping two games in a row, the Titans have had a rock-solid season backed by grit and determination. Jacksonville is still learning to come together every week and needs time to mature. Tennessee should be able to use its experience to win this game and get closer to an AFC South title.

Philadelphia Eagles (11-1) at New York Giants (7-4-1)

    • Channel: FOX
    • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
    • Live stream: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now

An NFC East battle goes down at MetLife Stadium when the Philadelphia Eagles take on the New York Giants. New York is still waiting on Saquon Barkley’s status, and his ability to play will drastically change the outcome of this game. The Eagles still have difficulty defending the run, and Barkley has returned to form in 2022. If the former Penn State RB goes off, it will be an interesting night for the Eagles.

However, the Giants have their own mismatch against an explosive Philadelphia offense. Jalen Hurts and the Eagles’ offense have shown they can beat you in many ways. Whether it’s Hurts and Miles Sanders on the ground or the new-found deep ball connection with A.J. Brown, Philadelphia will move up and down the field at will. The outcome will be determined by whether the Giants can keep up.

Baltimore Ravens (8-4) at Pittsburgh Steelers (5-7)

    • Channel: CBS
    • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
    • Live stream: CBS All-Access, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV

An AFC North matchup closes the Week 14 early window with the Baltimore Ravens facing off against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Lamar Jackson will most likely miss this week’s game with a knee injury that sidelined him in Week 13. While Tyley Huntley is one of the better backups in the league, Baltimore struggled to do much of anything last week with him under center, barely beating the Denver Broncos.

On the other hand, the Steelers have strung some wins together with the return of T.J. Watt to their defense. While Baltimore is activating J.K. Dobbins from injured reserve, the Steelers’ defense could be too much in an old-school defensive battle between these two bitter rivals.

Kansas City Chiefs (9-3) at Denver Broncos (3-9)

    • Channel: CBS
    • Start time: 4:05 p.m. ET
    • Live stream: CBS All-Access, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV

The late afternoon portion of the Week 14 NFL Games Today schedule kicks off in the Mile High city, where the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Denver Broncos. The Broncos have had the most disappointing season of any team in the NFL in 2022. The offense is abysmal and has been ravaged by injuries. While the defense has kept things close, the unit can only do so much.

Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs have continued their domination of the AFC West after an offseason of higher expectations from the division. While the Broncos’ defense may give the Chiefs a more challenging time than usual, the Chiefs’ willingness to run the ball should be a positive in this matchup. Don’t expect an offensive beatdown, as the Broncos’ defense still has their pride, but the Chiefs should reach double-digit wins.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-6) at San Francisco 49ers (8-4)

    • Channel: FOX
    • Start time: 4:25 p.m. ET
    • Live stream: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now

With all the divisional matchups out of the way, who is left to play in Week 14? The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head across the country to take on the San Francisco 49ers. Tragedy struck early against the Miami Dolphins in Week 13 when Jimmy Garroppolo was lost for the season with a broken foot. Enter Brock Purdy, who filled in seamlessly for the 49ers and helped them beat the Dolphins for San Francisco’s eighth win.

The Tampa defense has been dismal this year, and it doesn’t matter who is starting for the 49ers. As long as Purdy protects the ball and lets his playmakers do the work, San Francisco should have no problems beating a lackluster Tampa Bay squad. It would be surprising to see the Buccaneers’ offense do much of anything against a surging 49ers defense ready to feast.

Carolina Panthers (4-8) at Seattle Seahawks (7-5)

    • Channel: FOX
    • Start time: 4:25 p.m. ET
    • Live stream: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now

Another cross-country trip sees the Carolina Panthers trekking to play the Seattle Seahawks. D’Onta Foreman and the Carolina rushing attack have been thrilling post-Matt Rhule, helping this offense surprise a few opponents during Steve Wilks’ interim head coaching tenure. Despite the Seahawks’ lackluster rushing defense, Seattle has the QB to make the plays Carolina can’t.

Seattle has received a renaissance year from QB Geno Smith, who helped the team stave off a rebuild following the Russell Wilson trade last offseason. They seem primed to be heading to the playoffs, and, if Kenneth Walker III gets healthy, could make some postseason noise.

Miami Dolphins (8-4) at Los Angeles Chargers (6-6)

    • Channel: NBC
    • Start time: 8:20 p.m. ET
    • Live stream: NBC Sports, Peacock TV

The Miami Dolphins, who stayed in California after playing San Francisco in Week 13, head south to take on the Los Angeles Chargers. The 2020 NFL Draft has tied together these two teams. Miami, who selected fifth, had the option of taking either Tua Tagovailoa or Justin Herbert as the franchise’s next QB. The Chargers, choosing sixth, watched as the Dolphins picked Tua, and L.A. selected Herbert afterward.

One story tonight will center around injuries for Los Angeles. The defense has been hampered for the better part of 2022, and the Dolphins should be able to take advantage of that after a rough Miami outing in Week 13. The Chargers’ rushing defense is suspect, so expect Jeff Wilson Jr. to take advantage.

Meanwhile, the Chargers’ passing defense struggles to defend against play-action passing, one of Tua’s specialties. While the matchup is sure to be thrilling, the Dolphins’ offense should bounce back to keep the pressure on the Bills in the AFC East race.
