Who faces off on Monday Night Football?

Washington Football Team (4-7) at Pittsburgh Steelers (11-0)
    Channel: FOX
    Start Time: 5 PM ET

After a reschedule due to the insanity caused by Week 12’s Ravens/Steelers nightmare, the Steelers will now host the Washington Football Team on Monday night at 5 PM in Heinz Field, according to the NFL games today schedule. Pittsburgh played another close one against a Ravens team that didn’t seem like it had a chance. However, between it being a division game and people getting ruled out left and right, the preparation was weird, to say the least.

Washington trounced Dallas on Thanksgiving and is tied with the Giants for the NFC East lead. Personally, I like Washington’s chances of beating Pittsburgh better than New York’s chances of beating Seattle. However, I think both the home teams achieve victory with no issue, so no change in the NFC East.

Buffalo Bills (8-3) at San Francisco 49ers (5-6)
    Channel: ESPN/ABC
    Start Time: 8:15 PM ET

San Francisco surprised many by beating the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12. They’ve silently re-entered the postseason conversation. The Bills still have Miami biting at their heels and should do everything in their power to avoid a Week 17 showdown for the AFC East. The key matchup here will be if the 49ers’ defense can slow down Josh Allen and the Bills’ offense.

Postponed Tuesday Night Football game in Week 13

Dallas Cowboys (3-8) at Baltimore Ravens (6-5)
    Channel: FOX/NFL
    Start Time: 8 PM ET

The final tilt on the NFL games today TV schedule was previously supposed to be Week 13’s Thursday night matchup. Instead, fans are treated with back-to-back weeks of Tuesday Night Football. The Ravens have ground to make up if they want to have any shot at a trip to the playoffs.

The Browns sit ahead of them in the AFC North without even mentioning the Steelers, so they look to be playing for a lower wild card spot. The Cowboys’ loss at home was eye-opening, and the Ravens are a better team than Washington. More changes are coming in Dallas this offseason.

NFL games on TV today (Sunday) for Week 13

New Orleans Saints (9-2) at Atlanta Falcons (4-7)
    Channel: FOX
    Start Time: 1 PM ET

The Atlanta Falcons dropped some jaws in Week 12 with their 43-6 dismantling of the Las Vegas Raiders. However, Week 13 features a matchup against a better defense, which they failed to score double digits against two weeks ago.

New Orleans comes back to a bit of football reality after facing an opponent with no QB. Their concerns should lie on the offensive side of the football, however. With the Falcons offense surging under interim head coach Raheem Morris, and with LT Terron Armstead still out, will this be the week Saints QB Taysom Hill is exposed?

Detroit Lions (4-7) at Chicago Bears (5-6)
    Channel: FOX
    Start Time: 1 PM ET

The Matt Patricia era is over in Detroit. Following a dreadful 4-7 start and a lackluster tenure, ownership finally pulled the plug. Can the Lions rally behind interim HC Darrell Bevell to claim victory over an equally reeling Chicago Bears team who was just taken to the cleaners by the Green Bay Packers? Bears QB Nick Foles has recovered from his hip injury, but HC Matt Nagy announced Mitch Trubisky would get his second consecutive start with Foles as the backup.

Cleveland Browns (8-3) at Tennessee Titans (8-3)
    Channel: CBS
    Start Time: 1 PM ET

The Cleveland Browns are 8-3. That is not a typo. Sitting at the top Wild Card spot, this date in Nashville raises the stakes even higher. There is still a chance for Cleveland to catch the Steelers with five games still remaining in the season, but before anyone starts discussing the Steelers’ schedule, the Browns have to win. This Week 13 matchup features two spectacular running games and two fantastic RBs in Derrick Henry and Nick Chubb. The difference between these two offenses is under center.

Aside from late-game frantic-comeback mode, Ryan Tannehill has found success this season when the Titans have found a balance between the running and passing games. Meanwhile, Browns QB Baker Mayfield has had yet another roller coaster of a season despite the team’s overall success. The Titans have the edge here, but if everything goes right for Cleveland, a win would not be surprising.

Cincinnati Bengals (2-8-1) at Miami Dolphins (7-4)
    Channel: CBS
    Start Time: 1 PM ET

Tua Tagovailoa makes his return from a thumb injury, while the Dolphins also welcome back RB Myles Gaskin from injured reserve after missing the past four games with a knee sprain. The Bengals performed more valiantly than many expected against the New York Giants in Week 12, but the Dolphins’ defense is a different animal.

One can only hope we see Miami’s offensive coordinator Chan Gailey open up the playbook a bit more for Tua. The Dolphins are 7-4 and the sixth seed in the AFC, and keeping pace should be the goal. There’s a large pool of teams sitting at the 6-5/7-4 mark, and one slip-up can spell doom for a franchise’s postseason dreams this late in the season.

Jacksonville Jaguars (1-10) at Minnesota Vikings (5-6)
    Channel: CBS
    Start Time: 1 PM ET

The Jaguars played the Browns down to the wire in Week 12. Their Week 13 opponent, the Minnesota Vikings, also played a Week 12 thriller with a comeback win against the Carolina Panthers. After a putrid 1-5 start to the season, the Vikings have won four of their last five games and look like the strongest team from the NFC North besides the Green Bay Packers.

This matchup doesn’t look great for Jacksonville either, as they are allowing 136.5 rushing yards per game getting ready to visit RB Dalvin Cook and a Vikings offense averaging 145.7 rushing yards per game.

Las Vegas Raiders (6-5) at New York Jets (0-11)
    Channel: CBS
    Start Time: 1 PM ET

According to the TV Schedule, this NFL game between the Raiders and Jets kicks off at 1 PM today. Las Vegas’ Week 12 loss to Atlanta was gut-wrenching. Just one week after a three-point loss to the Chiefs, the Raiders laid an egg against the Atlanta Falcons, turning the ball over five times and failing to find any momentum anywhere on the field.

What a perfect way to rebound from utter disaster, with a game against the New York Jets. It seems more and more likely that 0-16 is a good possibility for HC Adam Gase and company. With the crowded AFC postseason race, this game couldn’t have come at a better time for Las Vegas. A loss here, however, would send waves throughout the NFL and bring up major questions for the black and silver.

Indianapolis Colts (7-4) at Houston Texans (4-7)
    Channel: CBS
    Start Time: 1 PM ET

The Houston Texans, with an interim HC, went into Detroit on Thanksgiving day and sent a head coach home for good. The Texans have won two games straight against the Patriots and Lions. The defense has only held teams to 14 points or less twice this season and is the main contributor to the issues in Houston.

Meanwhile, after a two-game win streak of their own and a chance to take control of the AFC South, the Colts came out flat against the Titans in Week 12 and relinquished their hold. The Colts have shown they can score points this season. With Houston’s defense as leaky as it is, Philip Rivers and the Colts offense should be in for a bounce-back performance in Week 13.

Los Angeles Rams (7-4) at Arizona Cardinals (6-5)
    Channel: FOX
    Start time: 1 PM ET

According to the NFL games today TV schedule, this matchup kicks off at 1:00 PM ET today. The Rams came up short in Week 12 against the 49ers and allowed Arizona to breathe a sigh of relief after their last-second loss to the New England Patriots.

As it currently stands, both of these teams are in the postseason, but a win for Arizona puts them even with Tampa Bay. Give the Rams defense credit, as they kept the team in the game last week. However, Los Angeles will need something more from QB Jared Goff if they stand a chance in Week 13.

New York Giants (4-7) at Seattle Seahawks (8-3)
    Channel: FOX
    Start Time: 4:05 PM ET

The NFC East-leading Giants easily face their toughest challenge of the season in Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks. It might not be one of the most anticipated NFL games today on the TV schedule, but the consequences of this one might have a huge impact on the NFC East race. The Giants have fought admirably in a division marred by underwhelming teams, but the offense and defense are too inconsistent.

While this might not be as concerning for the Giants offense, given the Seahawks defense is leakier than a gold sieve, the Giants defense is in for quite a day with Russell Wilson getting back in his groove and RB Chris Carson returning from injury.

Philadelphia Eagles (3-7-1) at Green Bay Packers (8-3)
    Channel: CBS
    Start Time: 4:25 PM ET

The Green Bay Packers dismantled the Bears in Week 12. The score looks respectable thanks to a last-minute garbage time drive from Chicago, but Green Bay controlled this game. Rodgers threw for 211 yards and four touchdowns. Heading into Week 13, Rodgers has 397 career touchdown passes and would be the fastest player to reach 400 career TD passes — just 192 games — with three against the Eagles.

New England Patriots (5-6) at Los Angeles Chargers (3-8)
    Channel: CBS
    Start time: 4:25 PM ET

According to the TV schedule, this NFL game kicks off at 4:25 PM ET today. Anthony Lynn’s seat has to be getting warmer after the sheer mismanagement of that final scoring opportunity in Week 12. Both of these teams have struggled this season, but the late-game mistakes and second-half collapses for Los Angeles keep stacking up.

New England has its running game rolling, and while the offense doesn’t look pretty, they are winning some games. This game feels like a toss-up, but if the Chargers can tie up some of those loose ends after last week’s exposure, they might be able to squeak a win out.

Who plays on Sunday Night Football tonight?

Denver Broncos (4-7) at Kansas City Chiefs (10-1)
    Channel: NBC
    Start time: 8:20 PM ET

Things didn’t go too well for the Broncos the last time these two teams faced off. The Chiefs scored 43 points and completely dominated Denver’s offense. Patrick Mahomes is dominating and became the third player in NFL history to throw his 30th touchdown pass of the season before his third interception.

Denver is spared from last week’s debacle, as QBs Drew Lock, Brett Rypien, and Blake Bortles returned from the reserve list. But besides making Denver look presentable, I doubt that will do anything to one of the best teams in the NFL.
