Miami Dolphins (7) at Buffalo Bills (2)

    • Channel: CBS
    • Start time: 1 p.m. ET
    • Live stream: CBS All-Access, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV

The Super Wild Card Sunday NFL games today schedule kicks off with what looks like the most lopsided matchup in the first round as two AFC East foes take the field for the third time this season, with the Miami Dolphins taking on the Buffalo Bills.

MORE: Dolphins vs. Bills Odds and Predictions

The Dolphins just aren’t allowed to be normal. One season after having turned a 1-7 start into a 9-8 finish, Miami sprinted to an 8-3 start this season only to drop five of their last six. They got the final win needed to make the playoffs, but with rookie seventh-round pick Skylar Thompson at the helm, Miami has scored just two touchdowns and failed to reach the end zone at all in Week 18 against the Joe Flacco-led Jets.

Meanwhile, Buffalo is primed and ready for another chance to win a Lombardi trophy. With one of the better offenses and defense, the Bills showed the NFL all season that they were a force to be reckoned with. Now with the stage set and postseason action here, don’t expect them to shy away from the challenge.

The losses at the hands of Patrick Mahomes over the past two seasons have stung. They’ll get a neutral site this year if they get that far. With plenty of motivation, the Bills move on to the next round while Miami recoups for 2023.

New York Giants (6) at Minnesota Vikings (3)

    • Channel: FOX
    • Start time: 4:25 p.m. ET
    • Live stream: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now

The second game today is ironically also a rematch despite not being a divisional duel. Just a few weeks ago, in Week 16, the New York Giants traveled to U.S. Bank Stadium, where they fell 27-24 to the Minnesota Vikings on a 61-yard Greg Joseph field goal as time expired. After the NFC’s playoff seeding settled, the Wild Card round supplied deja vu as the Giants return to Minnesota today.

MORE: Giants vs. Vikings Odds and Predictions

Both the Vikings and Giants finished the season with negative point differentials. There are four teams in the 2023 postseason with negative differentials, the 8-9 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Dolphins, who are in the middle of a QB debacle, and these two.

The Giants’ offense under Daniel Jones has vastly improved with Brian Daboll as head coach. Factor in Saquon Barkley’s fantastic return from injury, and the Giants hope to serve an upset special.

While Kirk Cousins has done well finding Justin Jefferson and many weapons in Minnesota’s offense, the defense is one of the worst units in the league. In what should be a thrilling shootout, can this young Giants team put together a full sixty minutes to pull off the upset?

Baltimore Ravens (6) at Cincinnati Bengals (3)

    • Channel: NBC
    • Start time: 8:20 p.m. ET
    • Live stream: NBC Sports, Peacock TV

The final matchup of three Wild Card NFL games today sees a second divisional matchup take the field as the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals face off for the third time this season. Lamar Jackson remains out while dealing with a PCL sprain in his knee.

While many had hoped the QB would be able to return after missing the final five games of the regular season, the former MVP “still has inflammation around the knee, and it remains unstable.

Whether it’s Tyler Huntley or Anthony Brown under center for Baltimore, the Ravens’ chances take a massive hit against a Cincinnati team firing on all cylinders.

While Joe Burrow had two of his worst performances against the Ravens’ defense this season, they still scored 20 points in Week 18 while the Ravens struggled to move the ball. The Bengals are on fire finishing the season on an eight-game win streak. Just like Buffalo, Cincinnati also hopes to make another deep run with little in its way early.
