Are there any NFL games today? Saturday's schedule for the last week of the regular season will showcase two huge AFC games.

With no Thursday or Monday Night Football this week, fans might be wondering if there are any Saturday football games today. Is all of the NFL’s action on Sunday, or have the schedule makers graced us with a weekend full of football?

NFL Games Today: Are There Saturday Football Games Being Played This Week?

Yes, there is in fact football being played today. Ahead of Sunday’s full slate of games, we get a Saturday doubleheader with a ton of fantasy implications on the line. Let’s take a look at the NFL games today and how exactly you can watch them.

Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders

    • Channel: ABC/ESPN
    • Start time: 4:30 p.m. ET
    • Live stream: ESPN+, fuboTV

With the top seed and first-round bye on the line, the Kansas City Chiefs head to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders in a must-win situation. The Raiders have already been eliminated from playoff contention and are starting backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham after benching Derek Carr.

Running back Josh Jacobs is currently leading the league in rushing yards, but might not see much time in this one if he wants to preserve his health ahead of an offseason where he will likely test free agency.

Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are not only eyeing that top spot, but they’re also very close to breaking some significant records. Mahomes currently has 5,048 passing yards on the year. He needs 430 more to break Peyton Manning’s individual season passing yards record of 5,477. Mahomes has hit that 430-yard mark five times in his career. Additionally, he only needs 186 yards to surpass Drew Brees’ passing and rushing yards record of 5,562.

Mahomes is not the only Chief looking to break or add to their own record. Tight end Travis Kelce only needs 117 yards to pass his own record of 1,416 receiving yards in a season. Additionally, with 13 catches, Kelce would surpass Zach Ertz for the most receptions by a tight end in a season.

The Raiders’ defense is one of the worst in the NFL at defending the pass. With so much on the line for Kansas City, this might be a long day at the office for Las Vegas.

    Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars

    • Channel: ABC/ESPN
    • Start time: 8:15 p.m. ET
    • Live stream: ESPN+, fuboTV

In another huge game for the playoff picture, the Tennessee Titans will be taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars in a huge AFC South matchup. This game is basically a “win and get in” situation for both these teams. However, there is a small chance that the loser still makes the playoffs if a number of other scenarios come to fruition. But, the easiest path to the playoffs for these two is to simply win this game and get the AFC South crown.

The Titans are crawling into this matchup after a tough six-game losing streak where they’ve seen several of their key contributors go down with injuries. None have made more of an impact than the loss of QB Ryan Tannehill. Without Tannehill, rookie Malik Willis needed to step in much too soon in his career, and he was eventually benched for Joshua Dobbs.

With Dobbs already named the starting QB in this one, he’ll get a second chance to get his first win of the season. Dobbs looked capable last week against a strong Dallas Cowboys defense, but some costly turnovers sealed the game for their opponents. This time around, Dobbs will at least have RB Derrick Henry back to take some pressure off him and the passing game.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars have won five of six games since their bye, including victories over the Ravens, Cowboys, and Jets. The offense has become one of the most potent in the NFL, and Trevor Lawrence is coming into his own.

One interesting note for this game is cash incentives that come into play for the last game of the season. Both WRs Zay Jones and Christian Kirk are very close to hitting receiving-yard bonuses that they have built into their contracts.
